Gerard Butler slicks his hair back for his new movie, Machine Gun Preacher, on Thursday (July 8) in West Bloomfield, Mich.
The 40-year-old Scottish actor portrays Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing biker tough guy who found God and became a crusader for hundreds of Sudanese children who’ve been forced to become soldiers.
Tomorrow, the flick will reportedly be shooting scenes at Jake’s Crossroads Bar & Grill in Melvindale, Mich.

Can’t wait for this movie to come out. Sam’s story is amazing and Gerry is also amazing.
What a nice thick head of hair he has. Wow. He’s a good looking man, not much doesn’t look good on him. He seems to wear it well, but need to see some other close-ups to make a call.
Ahhh Gerry with hair back is lovely. It show’s that noble Scottiish brow. It was this way for Timeline. He’s always handsome. and of course a huge talent on screen Glad he’s sinking his pearlies into this tough role though it’s the sort of thing he excels at..

One thing I love most about The Butler is that he’s not one of those cookie cutter little dweebs of Hollywood. He’s unique in looks and stature. Handsome man. He sure has a special quality about him.

There’s a different feel to them when they enter the room or come on screen.
In the photo with the goreous side view of Gerry, there is a guy alone in the upper right hand corner. Could that be Sam? It’s a far away shot, but it sure looks like him to me.
