Funny or Die Pitches 'Undercover Karaoke' for TV

Funny or Die‘s latest viral video idea may be hitting television screens nationwide!

The comedy website posted “Undercover Karaoke with Jewel” last week, featuring the folk singer disguising herself and visiting a karaoke bar as “Karen,” a businesswoman with amazing vocal ability. Watch her transformation and performance below!

The FoD team is reportedly pitching a television show based on “music stars from the past 4 decades going undercover to places where comedic situations will ensue, showcasing their talent,” according to Deadline.

    @Alaia I thought the exact same thing! It looks like they based her disguise off of Toula(before she fixed herself up, of course) from “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” I wouldn’t have recognized her. They did a really good job!

    I’d love to see this on tv! It’d be kind of like “I Get That A Lot” + “Punk’d”…great combination!
