Justin Timberlake: Sheryl Crow's Backup Singer

Justin Timberlake sings backup vocals on Sheryl Crow‘s cover of Terence Trent D’Arby‘s 1988 hit “Sign Your Name.”

The song is off Sheryl‘s new album, 100 Miles From Memphis, out TODAY (July 20).

Sheryl recently told Billboard, “[Justin] happened to be at [LA's Henson Studios] producing Jamie Foxx, and he was in the hallway. I played [the song] for him, and when it got to the chorus he’s like, ‘Who’s doing the backgrounds?’ I said ‘We haven’t done them yet,’ and he said, ‘I got it.’ It was all very organic and, man, perfect.”
