The trio picked up a bite to eat at hamburger franchise Johnny Rockets. Afterward, they picked up some supplies from Party City.

Been a few days. I got scared. Thought she might have gotten a job. Still walking around doing nothing but she brought a couple of props this time. I usually think she’s hot but her hair looks greasy or something.

Considering the fact that she has been spotted going to numerous casting offices over the past few months, she’s not on vacation from acting. She just went to a casting office a week ago. She’s trying to get a job but she isn’t booking them. Therefore she isn’t doing anything, and this is all she has to do.
Where are her brothers? How come they won’t be bothered with her? Is it b/c they didn’t appreciate her saying how it was all their fault she was a wild teenager involved in a drinking and driving accident??

Bil”tart is going to hate a new law being passed in California, that should take effect at the end of this year.
Basically A list stars got tired of the Papz hanging out in front of their homes all the time and managed to push forward a new law that would make it illegal for the Papz to spend the day outside of your home and also illegal for them to hang out in front of your child’s school or a child related to you.
So if a “star” has papz camped outside their home for instance all day long and doesnt want them there they simply call the cops and have them arrested, and make it clear that no one has their permission to stalk them outside their home.
So people like Bilson will no longer be able to claim that the papz camped outside her home that she just cant seem to get rid of could not be there unless they had her permission to begin with ;p
It is going to make presswhoring Z listers like Bilson lives alot harder( she wont be able to protend she cant make them go away anymore) and make it a little easier for A listers that are not begging for attention everyday to get the papz off their backs while at home.

Well, let’s take a helicopter view here; so far the evidence for a career seems fairly minimal given that, if she were working, or had work lined up, then it would get mentioned very quickly. It’s actually in her best interests (in any actress’s best interests) to show that she is still regarded as marketable. The fact that there is no noise being made about any up-and-coming projects (that aren’t rumours) is a pretty clear indication that she has nothing lined up. No actress has ever advanced her career by being secretive about what they do…it’s all publicity and work is the best publicity of all. It shows the world that people still want to hire you.
Re taking a vacation…her life could actually be more accurately described as a vacation interspersed with brief periods of employment rather than the other way around.
By the way, most people in the states and elsewhere don’t have the luxury of ‘walking around without a JOB in the summer holiday’. Most people have to work very hard to afford a vacation and definitely can’t afford to spend their summer days swanning around doing sod all! They don’t have daddy to pay the bills!

I think it is strange they didnt announce this sooner. Maybe they were afraid if people knew ahead of time too much they wont tune in but tune out to avoid the torture of her attempted acting. An episode is hardly work and surely not a career . They had Britney Spears on for christsakes more times and with better ratings, Britney Spears!!! So that sums up Bilson fairly easily.

Children go through phases as their facial features become more adult. Hattie is just going through a plain stage. I’m sure that if you look through your childhood photographs you will notice the same sort of progression from baby cute at a year old, to plain at two years, cute again at five etc. I know I can with mine. Hattie still has a lot of growing to do.
I must say that Rachel is one of those people who look far better in sunglasses than without them. Her eyes and eyebrows are simply not her best feature. I understand now why she wears them so much. Also she’s got the goofy, airhead expression down to a fine art. Does she really need to look quite so dumb!

You know, it is fair to say that Adam Brody dumped RB. But as far as
Christensen is concerned – for me is not so obvious as we have not seen any official statement of their final split up. And in general I should say that when people say RB and HC are done… I feel some unrest. I sense some TRICK behind it.
Look, in the mid-May in his Brazilian interview HC said he was deeply in love and could not wait marrying. I have never heard him saying such things about any of his ex or being engaged before, so I can not suspect him paying the lip service. In mid-June we got the info about HC & RB taking a break and it was mentioned that they did it a couple of weeks ago – so the beginning of June. What so extraordinary could has happened in between mid-May and the beginning of June that stopped their plans for wedding?? I am a little bit on edge with curiosity.
And now this parade in LA with the see-through blouses, shopping, going out, auditions, expositions of being a great sis. You know, I have an impression that she does it for purpose – she is pressing HC for something. So she dresses the way he evidently likes ( cut shorts, see-through blouses etc.), she demonstrates what a wonderful mother she will be by nursing the younger sister, she shows that she is still wanted by press and in the industry. She wants him to see that he might loose a great wife… How chip and predictable… May be I am all wrong. But this is the way I feel about their split up. What do think guys??

How I Met Your Mother has lost a large part of its audience after the 5th season people got bored with it and tired of the same old same old.
It is about a hair’s width away from being canceled before a season 7 happens.

Ye, it was naive of me not to try and suppose that this Brazilian interview could be made up and paid. It surprises me if she does not bother to get him back. I think he worth it. But if this is really a showmance to promote her career – I am astonished. I thought he is not the kind to make such agreements. @ Lora Your speculation that they are not completely over is a very real possibility, no one here knows for sure, only they do. In the blog section of the internet on google there is a piece about Rachel’s interview in Instyle UK (she is on their cover) that she talks about being private, and that she does not read what is written about her. And the magazine calls Hayden Christensen her boyfriend, instead of fiance. There is no annoucement that they are not together anymore, just that they are private, and she does not let what is written about them recently affect her life. There was an article in a Canadian blog in the beginning of July that said Rachel and Hayden were trying to work things out because they love each other, but had “issues” to work on “before taking that next step”. Rachel talks about wanting a Chanel wedding dress in the Instyle interview, as well.
Take the interview as you wish, maybe they are together, maybe they are not, but until there has been an official announcement (like when she and Adam Brody split), there is room for speculation either way.

Thanks for the info, I think they are still together, not just engaged anymore, Rachel is not behaving like a single woman after the reported break, not like her break up with Adam before, she was seen going to clubs and partying with friends. Nowadays she is always with family members and close friends.
@ S I did not read the entire InStyle article, just what was on this blog post. The article from July 1st or 2nd that talked about them trying to work things out is a blog I can’t remember the name of, Zack something, if you want to look it up. The idea that Rachel got ahold of a Portugese interview done in Brazil, and planted what Hayden said in a Lacoste interview about her, to me is very funny. She does not speak Portugese, I don’t think, and she was not even in Brazil! I think she wanted to call off the engagement, she is the one who did not make any wedding plans for so long, and Hayden is the one who gave her the engagement ring, also. Time will tell what happens with them, anyway, if anything else does.

Actually I think we see pretty much all of Rachel’s life outside her or her friends/families home. I don’t think she makes a move outside that doesn’t involve her calling the paps. When we don’t see pics of her I imagine it’s b/c she’s been indoors all day. She’d probably invite the paps to “spy” on her inside her home if she could!!

Rachel doesn’t strike me as the kind of person who would stay home most of any day so you are not seeing all of her life in a few photos taken during a 24 hour period. For a woman who is showing all aspects of her life to the entire world I think we have a fairly good picture of what her life is like. You don’t need the entire photo to see the big scheme of things. As ponted out by #65, It is only AmyGrindHouse, a BLOGGER who mentions HC, not RB. Not even her interview page on the official InStyle website does mention HC at all. Instead, it says “For all the inside gossip on past boyfriends…pick up the latest issue of InStyle on sale NOW!”
Take notice that they use the word “past boyfriends”.

RB was not in Brazil does not mean that her PR people would not make up things like that HC’s “interview”.
That “trying to work things out” thing on Zack Taylor is stupid. He said they did so because “everything is rushing”…ridiculous. For Heaven’s sake, they had been together for 3+ years and engaged for more than one year. “Everything is rushing”?! This does not make sense at all.
In addition, #45 and #54 has good points that the showmance is done.

RB is still photographed frequently but we only see her either alone or with her family or friends. We still don’t see her together with HC.
Good guess that since the showmance is over, RB can no longer pimp out the relationship, so she use her family and friends for attention.

Yep – they’re done! Most of the Rayden fans were to busy putting on their rose coloured glasses to realise just how fake the relationship was.
It got them good publicity for Jumper…the old are they/aren’t they scenerio…and continued to garner them publicity for the next three years. It was never going to last because it was never based on anything like real emotion for each other.
Reading this thread about whether or not Hayden and Rachel are still together or not is very amusing! It seems that some people think they are still together, but not engaged, and the group that feel they are not together are very passionate about that fact–some to the point of swearing about it! It’s as if no one is allowed to havea different opinion. This sounds just like it did 2 years ago in 2008 when everyone was debating whether or not they were dating! True, they have not been seen together for awhile, but Rachel was in LA all last summer, also. Maybe they have broken up, but so have alot of couples, then gotten back together again.
Hayden loves speculation about himself, he said that after he dated Sienna. Bottom line, no one on here knows anymore than anyone else, so no matter how much you insist you are correct, it is still just gossip about two people.
Another question:
Why all the sudden those Rayden fans come to argue that HC and RB are still together?

They had been together for 3+ years. Apparently RB used HC for publicity and career boosting (if she ever has one), but it didn’t really help. Now she isn’t offered any new projects (guess-starring in certain TV show doesn’t count as there is difference between this and regular work), and she would only ruin HC’s image.
Also, people don’t buy their relationship as nobody except the delusional Rayden fans believes that they were really into each other.
What kind of couple spent most of the time apart?

Keep in mind he is balancing all this while he is suppose to be promoting Takers instead but is focusing on lending his name to help. This might even conflict with showing up to premieres for the film itself. Good for him I say.

Nice that Hayden is working on these projects, very worthwhile! Like the previous poster said, Hayden does like people to wonder about him, and reading the whole Instyle interview leads you to wonder if they are not still together, just not engaged.
If you read the Instyle interview Rachel did, it starts out saying: “To any men reading, if Rachel Bilson were available, you could buy her a Taboo game, …..”, then goes on to talk about the swing that Hayden made for her with her initials engraved in it. It talks about Hayden as if her is still her boyfriend, and mentions “previous squeeze Adrien Brody” as one of two actors she has dated. They meant Adam Brody, what an error! Read the interview on her blog sites, and you will see what I mean. But who cares, anyway, it’s their lives, not ours, right?
I wonder when the interview was done?
Before the news about them “taking a break”, there was a post on JJ about her hanging out with a stylist to do a photoshoot. Was that refer to this InStyle UK cover shoot?
The fact that InStyle got Adam Brody’s name wrong proves that magazine interview can be wrong. Just saying.
Getting a name wrong, Adrien instead of Adam, is close to a typo, but still wrong. The rest of the interview for a September issue would have to be current, because she talks about not reading the press reports of what has been said about her relationship with Hayden recently. Paragraphs mentioning Hayden could not be wrong, the same way getting Adam’s name as Adrien is. It is a British magazine, Adam is popular here, may not be as popular there. It is clear they meant Adam, they said he was from the OC. Whatever, I am calling it a night!
Still, mentioning HC in that interview does not really mean anything.
Like what #74 said, actions speak louder than words. Technically, the last time we saw them together was in early May, almost three months ago. She is still being photographed frequently but only either alone or with her family and friends.
I also notice that currently she is seen with her family and friends more than the days when we was with HC.
Also, recently it seems like HC is focusing more on his career and charity projects instead of getting involved in anything RB-related.
Why some people think that they are still together is beyond me.
