'30 Rock' Live Episode on the Way!

'30 Rock' Live Episode on the Way!

30 Rock will air live a episode on Oct. 14, NBC announced.

Not once, but twice so that both East and West Coast viewers get to see it that way!

NBC also is looking into more comedy programming on more nights other than its Thursday night sitcoms.

“I’m hopeful there is room for two comedies. They’re different, I think their audiences are different,” NBC president Jeff Gaspin said. “Our goal is to rebuild and get stronger.”

ARE YOU EXCITED to watch a live episode of 30 Rock??

    Hate to sound completely dense but what does a live episode mean? How will that work with a sitcom? Thanks!

    @KellStar:

    A live episode is an episode that runs without edition, so you just get one shot to get it right, all while it’s on air. So you are seeing exactly what’s happening on set at the episode.

    It’s kind of cool.

    I love 30 Rock and Im happy they are doing a live episode but I’m secretly hoping they mess up on the air just to see their reactions because when it happened on a live episode of Will & Grace, it was funny as hell.
