As for the clothes, I like that a Hollywood star is so unpretentious. It looks like he’s wearing black jeans here. He often wears bluejeans. I myself have a drawer of white shirts and a drawer of black shirts. Nothing is more classic than basic clothes in basic colors.

Well it is funny too that when she is in the USA, he is alone or with someone else, friend, family, whatever. The only way they are photographed is if she leaks it or if she calls the paps. Besides, most people do not take an entourage to the grocery store. He showed up! He was walking oh so nonchalantly through the shoe department that I almost missed him. Then, however, I spied his hair curling from beneath the back of his cap, and I leapt into the air and shouted, “JOAQUIN! JOAQUIN! IT’S ME, EMILY!”

He tripped once, a sneaker caught on the edge of a step, but he recovered and rushed on. Crushed, I called after him, but he disappeared onto the next floor, perhaps heading for the towel sale. All would have been lost, but then one of his sneakers came bouncing down the escalator. I picked it up. Vans, size 9. So, now I’m roaming Los Angeles looking for an actor wearing only one shoe. Many men with lovely eyes and strong jaws have approached me claiming to be Joaquin, but their feet are too big, too small, too wide, or too narrow. Well, I guess he can run and he can hide too, but I won’t give up. In fact, right now I’m drinking vodka from his sneaker, and you know what? It’s not half bad.

First off I am not insane, second I was going to post something else but I changed my mind. I would like to say that I did not intend for it to sound like I think she is worse than Aria. What I meant was was that Aria can not help but do that fame seeking w*** things she does because that is what she is by nature, but Lena is not like that. While yes I agree that she has done none of those thing Aria did, I was just raising the possibility that she knows what is said on these boards and she changes her profile picture to send a subtle hint to us on these boards that she is aware of what we say. So yeah while she may have never done anything to disrespect him or violate his privacy, why should she care what gossips on a board say?
Possibly she may not, but I am sorry but all the pictures that she has posted, according to these boards, have sent subtle “hints” to these boards that she knows. My problem with it is this, she put a black and white picture of her where no one could tell what color, after someone spotted him with a brunette, well no one could tell and said that, then the next day she posts that picture. She knows what people say and she responds in that way.

OK People calm down. First do not read into what half a%% tweets mean because you can not unless you have access to every tweet someone has received and posted.
I tend to think that she is talking abut her band and her music career lately, not him. Even if she did piss him off and he dumped her does not mean she was referring to him on these new tweets.

She talked about how she was writing stuff and she had creative control over that and then yesterday she retweeted about writing a song with someone, and writing made her happy and she had a productive day, well that probably is why her day was amazing. I have loved my life even in bad circumstances and I have loved it also when it had absolutely had nothing to do with a man. Why should her comment about that have anything to do with him?

I’m not a delusional Joaquin fan, but I am a fan. I knew all along he was seeing several women at once. He has done this many times in the past so why any fan would be surprised is beyond me.

In my opinion, I fully believe he told her upfront that he wanted to be in an open/ non exclusive relationship. Then he was probably all kissy huggy in private…. and because of that she ignored the fact that he already stated he didn’t want anything serious. I find the whole Phoenix family rather amusing. His sister Liberty spoke about how they were raised to respect and love the earth. Maybe Emily but I knew about his strange family for a long time. Just because you are raised one way does not mean you can not turn out another, look at his career, so what if you have a family telling you one thing when your entire career is the total opposite and you are pimped out like a product, that alone would explain the women issue.
Some can say he chose it and yes he did but we also have to remember that he was raised in the industry too or at least was exposed to it when he had no choice.,and that can mess you up.

I had no clue who she was even though I had heard a remix she did with a girl named Valeria who actually has a career in Mexico and when I started reading these boards about him I was appalled at how Aria was handling the whole thing. I know people are like that but if you really want to be famous on a good note, you do not grovel and you do not post your private life all over the internet.

I am sure that most of the women he messes around with are only one or two night stands and they know that. He probably has a few that he hooks up with and maybe kinda likes but they probably know it is just a thing that is convenient and for the moment and they happen to be able to handle that. Well, all I know is that he looks happy with his family and he never looked happy with her, ever. Gee I wonder why.

Really if you think about it, this thing with Aria is really crazy because he is always seen with other people and looks happy, especially his family, but on top of that he never took her to any of these events and they are part of who he really is, so that alone should tell you what he really felt about it. Even someone like Tueta was more his type. Yeah we all know she was way too young to have been anything serious, and he was with other women at the same time too….but at LEAST Tueta was very private. She likes to party because she is young, but she wasn’t using his name for publicity and doesn’t want fame.

Aria is the only girl he’s ever “dated” who is this way. And from his history it is clear that she is the total opposite of what he likes. Did any of you honestly think he’ end up with a wannabe POP STAR?

I also bet that in the beginning she just wanted anybody to know and then it became clear that she read these and other boards and was mad and that is why she leaked that picture. She probably still reads them. But think about it, if she can read these boards, if she does, then so can he. Or at least people who know him and can give him a word up on it.

I never believe celebs when they say they “don’t read their own press”. They ALWAYS say that, and it’s a big lie. They just want to make it seem like they don’t care what people think of them, when they do.

Joaquin always says he never reads his own press but he does. I don’t think he is obsessive about it, but I have no doubt he reads things about himself. I remember a few years ago when their was a picture of him in a tabloid of him cleaning out his car, he commented on it to a reporter. I have thought this from day one since I have heard about Aria and him.
I just want to bring up a possibility that I have not heard yet.
READ VERY CAREFULLY ALL OF IT.
I do think they knew each other and I do think he slept with her. She shared his circle of friends at that given time.However has anyone ever thought of the possibility that this was all a ruse from the start? That she planned this crap, that when she met him she attached herself to him and made it her job to show up where he was and he at first was stupid enough to tell her?
She did not arrive at the Oscar party with him and she left with her friends. He ignored her at Sunset Towers, who is to say she did not call the paps on that did you see her look directly at the camera? She wanted to be seen with him even if she wasn’t with him. I don’t get why anyone is surprised by this. I have been saying from the beginning that Aria only wanted to use him for publicity. She never “loved” him, I don’t even believe she really LIKED him. She used him for publicity. We wouldn’t be talking about her if she didn’t use him to promote herself, so it worked. Unfortunately for her though, a few people on a JJ board aren’t going to give her a pop star career. She has no more twitter followers than she did before Joaquin, and certainly no more fans buying her music.

I don’t even believe they were ever really “together”. Like another poster said, all of the info came from HER. Right down to her calling the paparazzi to have her picture taken with him. Including the time she went out with Joaquin and Amanda to dinner. I am convinced she begged tag along with him, and he said ok. She went because she would get her pic taken. Even the Oscar party was obvious. The JUST met, why would she be there? Because she is in the business like he is, and she wanted to go and mingle with hot shots. They never arrived together, nor did they leave together. She left with her friends hours after him.

I totally believe like someone said, this was all planned. SHE is the one who pretended that they were an actual item. Joaquin only saw her as one of his many booty calls. Aria is so pushy and so clingy that you can bet she is responsible for trying to tag along with him everywhere he went.

How odd I just sent a comment to them and said I did not like the song blah blah and they made the comment that “well Aria is his girlfriend” I sent another message which you probably will not see and said no she isn’t ANYMORE ,her own website manager confirmed that on his twitter pager a few weeks ago when he said he called her to ask about the status of her and the PG and then he asked about her and Joaquin and Aria went off and refused to have anything to say about it.
