Lindsay Lohan Freed From Jail, Now In Rehab
Lindsay Lohan was released from California’s Lynwood jail on Monday morning (August 2).
Thanks to good behavior and severe overcrowding, the 24-year-old actress only served 13 full days of a 90-day sentence.
“Lindsay Lohan was released from the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department at 1.35 am, on August 2, 2010, pursuant to satisfying the completion of her jail sentence,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said in a statement. “Ms Lohan served her time in custody without incident. Per a court order, Ms Lohan was released directly into a treatment program and is now under the jurisdiction of that program by way of the Los Angeles County Probation Department.”
To complete the second phase of her sentence for violating probation in a 2007 drug case, Lindsay will begin a three-month stint in rehab at the UCLA Medical Center.
