Ryan Reynolds: Whale of a Tale!

Ryan Reynolds is set to executive produce and narrate The Whale, a documentary about a killer whale that tries to become friends with humans!

The 33-year-old Canadian actor reportedly signed on to the project because it’s set near his hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia.

In the story, Luna, a baby killer whale, is separated from his family while off the coast of Vancouver. He becomes friendly with humans, “which leads to laughter, conflict and unexpected consequences,” according to Variety.

Ryan‘s wife, Scarlett Johansson, is also executive producing!

This is actually a true, sad, story. You can just google “Luna the whale” and read about it if interested.

Oh no…not a sad story about a baby whale…… Ugh, I need tissues..I’m going to cry. I hate sad stories about animals. Makes me want to crawl in a hole and die.

LOL! Hollywood is even remaking documentaries now, they are so strapped for any creative ideas.

Skip the documentary and turn it into an action flick. How about Ryan, wearing a Speedo, rides in and rescues the baby whale from the evil mad scientist that has a thing for blubber?

^ I agree status quo. Me too. On one hand you have a sweet story about humans and wild animals. On the other you have a lonely, orphaned baby whale. Poor sweetheart.
