Taylor Swift Debuts 'Mine' - LISTEN NOW!

Taylor Swift Debuts 'Mine' - LISTEN NOW!

Listen to Taylor Swift‘s newest song, “Mine”!

The new tune marks the 20-year-old country cutie’s first single from her new album, Speak Now, which hits shelves October 25.

Back in May, MTV asked Taylor what Speak Now is about. “What do you think?” Tay laughed. “Boys and love!”

“I’ve been writing it for the past two years,” she added, “so this summer it’s all about the finishing touches.”

FYI: Tay picked up a VMA nomination earlier this week for her video for “Fifteen”!

  • Anne

I agree all her songs do sound the same.

  • Tina

Crap!! More songs about her innocence love life.

I’m a huge Swift fan, no doubt about that. But this song is a disappointment. It is neither memorable, inspiring nor is it a great tune. Sounds like a small town country bar number and its way too country. Its like she’s going backwards. She should take her more mature voice and what she’s learned over the last two years and blow us away again by taking a greater risk and sing the words of a woman and not a child.

i like taylor and her lyrics but i have to admit that almost all her songs sound the same and i was expecting something different from her this time

  • lucy

I Like it but sound like all her songs..

  • Ashley

I like it but iTunes won’t let me buy it.

  • me]!

actually the fact that is more country makes me respect her because if she’s gonna be nominated for country awards she needs to sing country!

  • Not Impressed by AJ

Sounds amazing like always. Haters can’t carry a tune to save their lives!

  • laverdadduele

All country music sounds the same. Pointless.

  • Alaia

Her again? Oh god, go away! She is so generic.

  • Joyce

@Not Impressed by AJ: You say that as if she can herself. Did you not see her Grammy Awards performance? Dreadful.

  • clarence15

well i liked it i thought it was good

  • Lauren

I LOVE it!!! everyone says all her songs sound the same. It kind of does but I like how this song has a more country feel. I don’t she’s gone backwards at all. I think this is just Taylor’s sound, and I like that she’s not changing drastically like other artists. People get mad at stars for changing their sound/image and now people are upset because something isn’t changing…….

  • Laura

So excited for her new album! Lovin’ this song. And ya know what, I’m glad it sounds more country, because if she’s going to be nominated in the country category all the time, then she needs to be country!

  • http://JustJared Jan

Swift is a bright lady with a terrific imagination. I don’t want her to change, just grow. It feels like this song was written in a minute, with no soul or depth. “You Don’t Have to Call” was her best!

  • KELLY

    so what else is new

  • Dooley

She’s 20 but writes like a 13 year old that has her first crush..Country Pop for the Disney Crowd.

  • YoYOyo

    @Jan:

SHE’S A COUNTRY SINGER .. OBVIOUSLY SHE SHOULD SOUND LIKE ONE !

  • Swizzle Fan

She’s a babe with a crazy sexy voice!

I am NOT ready for more Taylor Swift yet!

  • claudia

Mmmm, well i really like it..i loove all her songs and i loove this one…sooo…great tay!

  • Jenny

I love this song personally, it has a great rhythm and beat to it, making it catchy and memorable. A perfect summer song for her to release before her next, and what I’m sure is lined up to be another fabulous, mulit-award winning album.
    Great song Taylor! :)) <3

  • Leon

I’m not a hater. I listened to the song, thought it was OK, but I really don’t get her appeal.

haha, this is like the happy country version of tracy chapman’s “fast car.” young couple getting together, struggling to pay bills, the girl was raised by parents with a dysfunctional relationship, idealistic thinking that things’ll get better. only thing is that in taylor swift’s version they probably end up in fairytale land where she wears in pretty white dresses and in tracy’s you know things just get worse.

even if it does sound country they’ll probably just play a pop version on the radio anyway where they replace the fiddle with a guitar.

  • Bianca

TAYLOR IS THE BEST, ALL YOU HATERS ARE JUST STUPID PIECES OF JEALOUS POO, AT LEAST SHE HAS A CAREER AND ISN’T SOME DRONE SITTING ON THEIR LAPTOP BAGGING OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL, TALENTED AND BEAUTIFUL.

  • Dooley

@Bianca: Not Jealous..Just sick of her boring songs played on radio 24/7..She needs to take a break just not a career ended one like Christina Aguilera took.

  • cara

I am so sick of people that complain her music is the same. And this is coming from a non Taylor fan. News flash, most artist sing about the exact same thing. And all genres have a topic that everyone in that particular genre sings about. Country sings about love and heartache, pop about how they are breaking free or know one understands them, r&b and rap about hooking up and going partying or people being killed. Yet know one says anything about that. Also, at least she writes her own music unlike a lot of celebs out there today.

THIS SONG IS AMAZING! TAYLOR SWIFT IS COMING BACK ONCE AGAIN WITH AN AWESOME ALBUM THAT WILL BREAK A BILLION MORE RECORDS & TAKE THIS WORLD BY STORM!!!!!!

  • not hater

    BORED!!!!!!!!!
    same lyrics!
    same rhythm!

  • Rebecca

I love this new single so much. I don’t believe she has gone backwards in her music at all. Yes this song does have a more country feel than her last few hits but she markets herself as a country singer so therefore she should be singing country. Even though this song includes her typical themes of falling in love and happy endings I still think she has matured lyrically when you compare past lyrics to these.

  • Sadie

First reaction; Havent I heard this before?
All her songs sound EXACTLY the same -.-

  • Alyson

Sounds exactly like all of her other songs….

  • boston61

I hate her hair. Not sure why? It’s not cool. Not that it should look like that no talent Gwen S’s.

  • Rose

its the same sound as her first album. I sort of lost respect for the girl after her concert, great concert, just didnt like her. I think we need more of a break from her, maybe until next year at least. Its too soon still :p

  • Dominic

This didn’t live up to my expectations, which isn’t good cause I didn’t gave any.

  • Jennifer

I used to be a big Taylor fan, but I agree with others that this sounds exactly like all her songs. I get that teens and tweens feel like they can relate to her, but she’s not showing any growth or maturity in her songwriting. She’s 20 years old and it seems like she writes songs from a 15 year olds perspective. I guess it’s just disappointing that it seems like she’s not trying to mature her audience at all.

  • Samm

GREAT! cannot wait for the new album! I love her so much! true talent and i hope she keeps pumping out beautiful tunes like this!

  • Ashley

    @Jan:
That song’s called You’re not sorry.

  • lisa

boring song, boring look, boring cover
really even the font is the same bleh

  • TAS Forever♥

    She’s a talented girl.
But this song isn’t her best. . .

  • zoz

@Cara you don’t listen to R&B or rap. Which is about love and rising above struggle. Swift does weak music for weak people. Really sound like a straight biggot. I never accuse you of marrying your father or cousin.

  • http://twitter.com/ItsRoisiR3 Roisi

I did not like the rhythm of the song but the lyrics is nice.

  • Rio

what a song XD nicely done Taylor!I love it!
