Chris Pine & Denzel Washington Are 'Unstoppable'

Chris Pine and Denzel Washington team up together in this trailer for their new film, Unstoppable.

The Tony Scott-directed film tells the story of two courageous men – a conductor (Pine) and an engineer (Washington) who work together to stop an unmanned train carrying eight freight cars filled with enough hazardous chemicals to wipe out an entire city.

Chris recently starred in a production of The Lieutenant of Inishmore in Los Angeles.

Unstoppable is expected to hit theaters November 12, 2010!

Superb actor, Denzel! Chris Pine, too! With actors of such calibre this should be a great film, the trailer is awesome. I love it when JJ posts something like this.

Does Denzel ever make a bad movie? The guy is just money, I’d watch anything with him in it. Without question he’s my favorite actor.

The trailer looks great. I can’t wait to see the movie. Chris looks so lovely, as always. I would have loved to have seen him doing the play. I’m glad you enjoyed seeing the play and him in person, Aerin. So he really is so cool in person?

The movie is not a remake of anything. It is based on a true story of events that happened on 15 May 2001 and I think this movie may be celebrating two ordinary people just doing their jobs, except that on that day, they managed to help prevent a real-life catastrophe from occurring, that could have hurt thousands of people. It’s about time we had some movies about real people overcoming odds, instead of all this stupid superhero/vampire stuff that seem to be the craze at the moment. Good on Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Tony Scott and everyone else who decided to do something real for a change.

Perhaps that’s why I like Chris Pine, apart from the fact that he is awesomely gorgeous, is that he choses to play more real to life sort of people. Even Kirk from Star Trek is so very human, with his own strengths and weaknesses (just watch TOS).

Thanks, JJ, for posting this trailer.
