Rihanna's New Album Sounds 'Sassy' -- EXCLUSIVE

Rihanna waves to fans before performing to a sold-out crowd on Thursday (August 12) at the world’s most famous arena — NYC’s Madison Square Garden.

It was a proud moment for the 22-year-old Barbadian beauty and her big bro Kanye West, who was in the audience with pal Mr. Hudson.

“So I went to Rihanna’s concert tonight and when I saw her do ‘I’m so hard, eh eh eh,’ I’m not gonna lie to ya’ll, I might have actually started crying,” Kanye told the crowd at his secret NYC show later in the evening. “Just to see my little sister on stage with her production, her outfit, her song and rocking Madison Square Garden at her own sold-out show . It was a very emotional moment for me and I’m just so proud of her.” Touching!

At the Last Girl on Earth after-party held at NYC hotspot Greenhouse, Rihanna told Just Jared how excited she was for her new album and her new look. What will be her new album’s sound? “Strong, fun, and sassy,” she told us exclusively. Now that’s something we need to hear STAT!

In two weeks, Rihanna will be heading to Hawaii to shoot her new movie, Battleship, opposite Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch. According to THR, Universal has set a $200+ million budget for the pic — a huge investment in director Peter Berg.
