Avril Lavigne wears a surgical mask while showing viewers around Henson Recording Studios in this new video!
The 25-year-old Canadian rocker was taking precautions after she contracted strep throat earlier in the week. Avril has been working with producer Alex Da Kid for her new record (he’s worked on B.o.B.‘s “Airplanes” and Eminem‘s “Love The Way You Lie”)!
Avril and Alex even played a snippet of a new track – watch starting around 2:00 to hear it!

Avril is great, but her fansite sucks! I want everybody to know that Sharifa Mohamed, who runs the AvrilBandAids.com site, is nothing but a liar and a cheat who treats Avril’s REAL fans like dirt. The ‘fansite’ is really just a way for her to exploit the fans for money. So I’m calling her out on it.
What happened to me was, I won a contest that the site ran last year; a contest designed to drum up lots of hits. I worked hard for my prize, and earned Sharifa over a million hits, but a year later, no prize has arrived. None of the winners got their prizes! When I complained, I was banned from the site.
It’s not the only example of Sharifa’s exploiting Avril’s fans. She posts links to phony sites, offering a rare Avril EP, but in reality it’s just a scam to gather personal information. I can only assume that Sharifa is paid by companies to send hits their way. In essence, she is selling Avril’s fans to the highest bidders.
Screw you, Sharifa, and screw AvrilBandAids.com. Die and ************.

I got to agree with J_Brisby, avrilbandaids is a site known for being a scam and administrated by scumbags, including a person ripping off kids to afford holidays.
I was very shocked when Just Jared copied and pasted the fake “Message by Avril” with that avrilbandaids came up some days again – it was even discovered as fake in their own forums!
