Blake Lively surrenders in handcuffs for the September 2010 cover of Interview Magazine, on stands nationwide on Aug. 31.
Here’s a snippet of the interaction between the 22-year-old actress and her interviewer Ben Affleck, the director of their new movie The Town, out Sept. 10. It’s hilarious!
AFFLECK: Now stop trolling the Internet looking for pictures of me and critiquing my wardrobe. Before I went to do this interview somebody said, “Blake is a fashion darling.” All of us can’t be fashion darlings, Blake.
LIVELY: Well, people like you make me fashionable, because if there is no wrong there can be no right.
AFFLECK: You’ve gotten so much more b–chy since we wrapped the film.
LIVELY: But I think you have to say that I’m charming at the end of the interview. I think that’s the rule.
AFFLECK: You’re very charming.
LIVELY: Actually, I think they usually like to end these interviews on a funny note.
AFFLECK: I’m not sure that I said anything funny. Maybe you did.
LIVELY: Maybe they’ll just have someone else redo the interview.
AFFLECK: Okay, then. I’m going to let you go. I can hear the Gossip Girl people banging on your trailer door because you’re holding up the whole production doing this interview. This is how you get a bad reputation: You stay on the phone doing interviews.
LIVELY: I’m actually not in a trailer. I’m in a hotel room with no air conditioning. It’s very special.
AFFLECK: That’s the charm of Europe. What can I say?
LIVELY: That’s going to be the quote right there: “Ben Affleck says things don’t work well in Europe.”

I find it funny how she always tries to come off as a serious actress in interviews, and considering the fact that noone watches gossip girl she kind of gets away with it. She’s terrible though (and yes I’ve seen her other films).

Blake is not a terrible actress! She was believable in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and received good reviews in Pippa Lee!

Nice cover but the interview is painful to read. They’re trying so hard to come off as funny and all…… Please Ben, shut up and go home, take care of your two daughters we only see with their mother. And when it comes to Blake, she’s pretty but I’ve never seen Gossip girl or any other film with her so I can’t say if she’s good enough for me but from what I heard, she’s not that good of an actress, so she’d better shut it up too!

she referred to the lead character in Pearl Harbor and he did not

People on the reality shows should be the ones to shut up… not actresses who are there to promote their movies..

Oh yeah ..Then why is she trying to steal a role from Scarlett and Why does she have 2 movies lined up with Ryan? Anybody could tell they’re is something between them .They were flirting up a storm at Comic-Con.Now I hear that Scarlett wants to renew her vows with Ryan.That smells of desperation if you ask me .Reminds me of JLo when she caught her husband partying with other women and they quickly “renewed” their vows in Vegas.Seems Scarlett found out and is jealous.

lol believable isn’t enough though. She has no on screen charisma what so ever. She comes off great in interviews but when she’s “acting” she is so bad.
and as for Pippa, she was the weakest link in an excellent cast. She didn’t show much range either, it was more her doing crazy stuff than actually acting out a scene. I give more credit to the director who also wrote the script for managing to get something ok out of her.
She is the perfect example of someone who has done everything right by the book career and publicity wise, but when it all comes down to her real profession which is acting she falls flat. It comes as no surprise when she says she has never had an acting coach. Maybe she should consider getting one, looks and buzz can only get you this far she needs talent to stay. Of course she could take the Jessica Alba route and just stay “hot” but she will need a few more surgeries for that. maybe fix that manface and penisnose of hers.. and she could do something about her jaw
