OK! reports that Mike Sorrentino is the latest celeb to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars.
“It’s people like that who come on the show who people will tune in and watch because either it will be a travesty or it will be interesting to see somebody turn something completely around so I’m up for anybody,” DWTS‘ Derek Hough told OK! over the weekend. “For me it’s classic entertainment, it’s fun. Whatever gets people talking and tuning in is interesting to watch.”
The mag also says Audrina Patridge, Brandy and NFL alumnus Kurt Warner will be putting on their dancing shoes for the new season.

So reality tv show contestants are ‘celebrities’ now? Ignorant, narcissistic, talentless idiots whose only claim to fame is acting like a bunch of jerks on television. Next he’ll be selling a s*x tape….
I love Dancing With The Stars, but can’t stand this ugly, disgustingly greasy wanna-b so I wont be watching if he’s on it. He is a joke. I live at the Jersey Shore one block from the beach. The young people that are in our area are far from what he and his show represents.

I’ve never watched this show…and I don’t want to. Why? because I have heard enough about it on all the entertainment shows etc. and it just looks like glorifying bad behaviour. I’m rather sick of this guy showing his stomach as well. Is this what is considered entertainment now? following a bunch of drunk and indiscriminating people around?

You are all just haters! The kids on Jersey Shore are in no way trying to represent what Jersey is about. These kids are just doing a reality show & you can make what ever you want of it. I like the show & Mike “The Situation”, so get over it.
