Jewel: Emmys 2010 Red Carpet

Jewel hits the red carpet at the 2010 Emmy Awards on Sunday (August 29) at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old singer wore a strapless Zuhair Murad gown paired with a coral-and-diamond cocktail ring by Jacob & Co and Rene Caovilla heels.

She will be performing tonight during the tribute portion of the show. Jewel talked about how she was selected to perform, saying, “I sent them a song that I wrote for a friend who had passed away.” The Emmy producer then picked her to sing the song during the ceremony.
