Bradley Cooper & Ryan Reynolds Sign On for Cop Comedy

Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds are teaming up for an edgy action-comedy about San Francisco cops!

The currently untitled film, written by Sheldon Turner (Up in the Air) follows two friends who are San Francisco cops, “whose fathers were once partners on the police force,” THR reports. “The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results.”

Ryan stars in next month’s Buried, while Bradley last hit the big screen in The A-Team.

Don’t buddy cop movies usually require one of the buddies to be funny?

# 2

Who is going to pay attention to whether or not the movie is any good or not if these two are in it? That’s a lot of nice eye candy in one movie!

# 3

I’m not sure about this. Whenever they put stars together it never works out.

I think this is a FABULOUS idea! I adore both of them and they’re both funny and oh…not so bad to look at either! Very excited about this!
