Mad Men Covers Rolling Stone

Mad Men Covers Rolling Stone

Jon Hamm surrounds himself with Mad Men babes Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, and January Jones for the latest cover of Rolling Stone.

Just this past Sunday at the 2010 Emmy Awards, Mad Men picked up two trophies. One for Outstanding Drama and the other for Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series (Matthew Weiner, Erin Levy).

Well deserved!!! But life on set is not always so easy.

“You have to be mentally acute for a significant period of time,” Hamm says, “and that becomes pretty draining.”

He adds about his real life, “I fly very low on the radar. Mark Twain said it: ‘I’d rather say nothing and be thought an idiot than open my mouth and remove all doubt.’ Another Missouri boy, Mark Twain. The petulant, sh–ty movie-star mentality – that burns out pretty quick.”

Now can all of you start watching this show??? Please?????????????

Congrats to Mad Men for not only the Emmy for Best Drama on TV but for having the most chic and stylish show on television in a very very long time.

Couldn’t they have picked a better shot of Jon Hamm? He looks constipated.

The best way to watch Mad Men? Wait til the season end and buy it on DVD. Not only do the DVD packaging look so good in your DVD collection, the storylines can be slow and you can’t wait til 3 or 4 episodes down the road when they continue some cliffhanger.

God I would love to see an affar between Draper and Cristina Hendricks. That will be one HEAVY affair.

Jon Hamm could have been positioned better but this is a great shot.
I wonder what the inside pages of them look like (if there are any).

Way too much photoshop! Christina Hendricks, Jon Hamm and January Jones are beautiful enogh without it! (Elisabeth Moss could actually use some photoshop). I love Mad Men. but still think Alison Brie is the most beautiful lady on the show!

Best show on TV, hands down!! Complex characters, great writing, great attention to detail from that era. Amazing!! And damn, Jon Hamm is HOT!!!!

Most overrated show on TV, only 2 million viewers a week, thats weak….hahahaha

I LOVE this show , but I can’t stand January Jones she looks bored as always, as her character said in the show “boring people get bored”.
I think Elizabeth Moss has potential but sitting beside January and Christina doesn’t help. she looks just not-so-pretty.

Ugh, some of you are so immature. And that’s why this show doesn’t have as much viewers as it should. Immature and don’t get it. They like stupid writing, action, and overall stupidity that the majority of shows out there give us. This show is genius! I love the whole cast! Especially january. And stop hating on elizabeth. Seriosiuly, are we 6? She looks great and it great.

People, turn off American Idol, Jersey Shore and DWTS and turn on the best show (HANDS DOWN) on television. I really wish America had better taste.

@bell:

The best shows on television often have the lowest amounts of viewers. The masses will swallow a bucket full of sh*t any day of the week. Those of us who expect something intelligent and well-made are few and far between. You can see the same phenomenon all over the place. Justin Bieber? Kim Kardashian? SNOOKI? These are the people and “artists” that have your attention. I’ll gladly remain one of those two million few if I don’t have to lose brain cells while watching their show.

MAD MEN IS SIMPLY THE BEST THING TO WATCH ON T.V FROM AMERICA ,I ENJOY EVERY MINUTE …

next well learn that madmen is a heavily edited tv show about imaginary characters played by heavily made up and well lit actors being staged to do things that never really happened!

Mad Men is poorly written, it spews continually lackluster dialogue, and it struggles with one boring plotline after another. The show boasts quite the cast, but this only underscores how poorly the writers have done in utilizing the talent at their disposal. When it first came out I was intrigued, and subsequently watched several episodes, but it didn’t take long to come to the realization that there is simply no “there” there. Short of the somewhat unique premise of the series, there is absolutely nothing about this show that warrants the attention it is getting. Are people really so shallow that they fall for this sophomoric, gimmicky drivel? When I heard that it was actually winning awards I couldn’t even believe by ears. Mad Men is every bit as trite and pathetic as our modern movies and music. Style over substance, nothing more.

Wow, some of these comments are really brutal. It’s amazing how “nobody’s” have to overcompensate by saying horrible things about people who they don’t even know. The Mad Men cast has proven its award winning talent 3 years in a row, is earning big bucks, and couldn’t give a crap about your miserable existence. You’ll never be where they are, so keep the crass & shallow comments to yourself – what is this, a high school cafeteria? Get a life!
