Channing Tatum & Rachel McAdams Film 'The Vow'

Channing Tatum towels off after being showered with rain as during a scene for his upcoming drama The Vow alongside co-star Rachel McAdams on Tuesday (August 31) in Toronto, Canada.

It was recently announced that Underworld actor Scott Speedman joined the cast of The Vow.

The film is based on a true story of two newlyweds (Channing and Rachel) who get into a car accident two months after their wedding. The wife goes into a coma and when she wakes up, she remembers everyone but her husband.

On Sunday (August 29), Channing went for a jog around Toronto.

This sounds so good i love’d the notebook with Rachel in it and this sounds like it will do well for channing better than dear john did.

Taking vow this will be a HIT Says:

@tenamoore: What are you talking about Dear John was a HIT, it took down Avatar and Channing Tatum was fantastic as always.

In some countries Dear John made more money than Notebook did. It probably would have made more in the US if The Last Song wasn’t released a month later but was pretty close to Notebook’s numbers.

Yawn…is she capable of doing something other than repeating the same role over and over again?

Being built like a tank myself, I don’t normally body-snark, but that dress or whatever it is makes Rachel look like the McAdams Memorial Wall. Is it to throw off the rabid baby-bumpers in the crowd? As for the film itself: Oh, jolly. Another treacle-roll for our favorite Torontoan. If they’d done it as a followup to Ms. McAdams’ incredible “The Lucky Ones,” fine. Or, if they’d even implied that her character had to have reconstructive surgery following the accident, then that would have added some grit to the story. As it stands, we’ll be stuck with another bowl of sugary fluff. Looks like this one’ll be joining “The Notebook” and “The Time Traveler’s Wife” on the “miss” list.

Anne Hathaway is picture perfect on the cover of Vogue’s November 2010 issue.

The 27-year-old actress donned a strapless Oscar de la Renta voluminous gown in the spread shot by famed photographer Mario Testino.

Anne’s upcoming film, Love & Other Drugs (out November 24) with Jake Gyllenhaal, will be the opening night gala film for AFI Fest 2010.

The film festival kicks off November 4 in Hollywood and will close with Natalie Portman’s film Black Swan, which is already getting Oscar buzz!

TAYLOR Swift can sell millions of albums — but she can’t sell magazines!

According to a new report, citing research from the Audit Bureau of Circulations, Swift has landed the dubious distinction of being on the cover of Elle magazine’s worst selling issue of the year, with 60,000 fewer copies sold than a typical issue.

Swift also failed to move many copies of Glamour or Marie Claire, as her covers were those magazines’ second and third worst selling issues of the year, respectively.

“Taylor Swift doesn’t create the same kind of narrative that people love to follow, like say, Kim Kardashian,” said one pop culture expert. “The days of being a nice person and just looking pretty on cover are behind us.”

Lady GaGa produced Rolling Stone’s best selling issue of the year, selling three times better than average. She was also the cover girl for Cosmopolitan’s best-selling issue of the year, and sold exceptionally well for Vanity Fair and for Elle.

“Lady GaGa is consistently provocative, both onstage and off,” said the expert. “As far as selling magazines, it’s almost better to be hated.”
