The show will kick off season two with their own rendition of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys‘ hit song “Empire State of Mind” – now we know what the cast was up to when they filmed wearing NYC tees!
And, Vulture adds, we may be hearing the song throughout the season: “There’s a good chance we’ll be hearing the song again,” Fox marketing president Joe Earley said.

I am SO sick of this show and pretty much all of it’s cast members.
Ok I love the show but I so freaking sick of this shiz now
@Ben: It actually started out harmless and entertaining but it’s just the most overexposed, overrated cr*pfest now. Even if you manage to avoid GLEE! news on the blogs and gossip about the cast in the media, you can’t get away from their awful covers on the radio. It’s too much.
they may as well go ahead and murder all my favourite classics while they’re at it.
This is so ridiculous. I watched most of last Season as it was literally the best thing on in it’s time slot and I enjoyed it….but it’s so obvious the show’s producer is cashing in every which way he can and doesn’t give a f***. Have some f—ing integrity man.

Pretty Much Awesome. And for all the haters, I mean it’s ok that you don’t like the show but you realize every time you comment, you are only making Glee more popular. Here’s a thought…ignore the stuff you dont like. Not too sound cheesy, but don’t rain our parade.
