'True Blood' Characters Get Figurine Treatment

Check out these new True Blood figurines!

Collectible bust figurines of Sookie, Bill and Eric were based on photos of the characters and are now available at HBO’s online store!

“A double statue of Bill and Sookie is planned for next year!” an HBO rep told Life & Style, on newsstands nationwide this Friday.

Is it too early to start thinking about these as Christmas presents??

Ugly….but anyway….what for ?

The show is not even for kids or young persons…

This is certainly not an idea of Alan Ball (my maestro that I’ll always respect for Six Feet Under….;)

Did the artist/artists who created these even know what the actors look like? The only one that is remotely plausible is Sookie’s and what is the need for these anyway? Isn’t True Blood an ADULT show?

Saw them yesterday at a store. Sookie’s looks the best by far. The other two are ridiculously ugly. Which is something I would never accuse Alex or Stephen of being.

is this good? maybe it means you are a star, having your own figurine? funny though, kinda cool i guess.

They are hideous indeed.
As much as I love the show I would NEVER buy a figurine of Sookie/Bill/Eric/whatever. Which btw look nothing like them.
Daymn, they are really confusing their audience with the twilight one.

@JM: Ummm, yes True blood is an adult show, these are for collectors (I.E ,for all the adults that flood the Comic Con every year)

@ Diggy
No need to be nasty. I wasn’t the only one who pointed this out. If you want to throw your money away on this craptastic merchandise, be my guest. I’d understand the “collector’s” bit if the figures looked anything like the real characters but they look like cheap, plastic, and most likely, overpriced junk.

These bust figurines have been out for a long time already. Nothing new.
