Jane Lynch on 'iCarly' -- FIRST LOOK

Jane Lynch will guest star on Nickelodeon’s hit comedy iCarly and the first pictures have been released!

The 49-year-old Glee star will play the mother to Sam (Jennette McCurdy) who has never been seen in the show’s previous two seasons. Jane‘s stepdaughter is such a big fan of the show that it was even mentioned in her wedding vows!

Jane‘s appearance on the show comes right off her Emmy win for playing Glee‘s resident villain Sue Sylvester.

Check out Jane guest-starring on iCarly on Sept. 11 @ 8/7c on Nickelodeon.

This is my son’s favorite show – so I’ve seen all the episodes because of him. It’s really a cute show for kids. So looking forward to seeing what Lynch does with this character. From past episodes we know she’s been in jail and is total trash. This could be fun.

lol @ Lisa – Thanks for your input since you know so much about me. In fact, I have a 9-year-old and before he started watching iCarly, I watched Drake and Josh with him. I don’t let my son sit and watch things that I don’t know what they are. So yeah, I watch iCarly with my son. And as I said, it’s a cute show.

I guess I should get you to pen my autobiography since you know so much about me.

I started watching iCarly because I babysit, but now I love the show and can’t wait for this new episode!
I’m also a huge Glee fan, so I’m super excited to see Jane Lynch!
As for her playing the same character all the time, she plays Dr. Reid’s schizophrenic mother in Criminal Minds, which is a great performance. Definitely not close to the monster she plays on Glee or iCarly. And it’s a great show; I’d recommend it.
