umm what the hell is Cate wearing?
Her glasses are hideous. There are much more attractive styles on the market.
i like the glasses.
i thought she was clay aikin at first
She’s a great actress but she looks really terrible here!
I like her outfit! it’s very chic! And the glasses too :)
I love Cate Blanchett, I just hate what she’s wearing
At last, a proper actress is featured here and one we’re all interested in because she soooo doesn’t court publicity and can really work her craft, unlike another pretender that goes by a similar name as hers…oooh I wonder who that could be (KB!)
she should be #1, are they kidding? Jennifer aniston should not eve be on her, hahahaha yeah right, who the hell put this stupid list together?
Cate Blanchett is one of the greatest actresses of our time. She is electic and wear whatever she wants…I could care less.
I will say this..Cate was robbed of the OSCAR for her outstanding performance in ELIZABETH. Instead the boring, political Academy gave it to Gwyneth Paltrow for her lackluster performance in
Shaspere in Love.
The AMA throws away awards. Not giving Mickey Rourke an award for his performance in “The Wrestler” and then turning around the next year to award Jeff Bridges an award for the same type film proves they have their favorites.
The year that rap group won for its “noise”… ” It’s hard out here for a pimp” was a desperate move to be relavent ..and I was done with them.
OMG she’s got the whole performing arts theatre director look on!
I Love Cate.
i love her frames!!
The glasses are ok. I just don’t like the haircut. But it is her choice.
Is it just me, or is there a trend in really short haircuts with actresses nowadays.
We all know she’s a great actress. The outfit?? why?? I would wear that for halloween though <=
Great actress, but that outfit is a stinker.
@S*8hallo:
Hold on, you’re overrating an actress that made three movies as protagonist in her career. it means she can’t carry a movie by herself. calling her one of the greatest is hilarious. But she’s ok, better than the average
Cate is the best. And she was leading in 10 movies.
I liked her outfit. Casual.
She was leading in 10 movies, if we not count Notes on a Scandal and Robin Hood , but I think she is leading in those movies, too. I love her.
I like Cate since Elisabeth. I think she is a great actress, but the pics of her offscreen are ever a surprise for me.
Offscreen she has a only face. She has ever the same expression.
@trin:
No she wasn’t leading. I’m talking about absolute protagonist.
There are very few movies, with an absolute protagonist, especially for women and besides I don’t think that really good actors only have to have that, because the interaction with the other actors makes them great too.
She was absolute protagonist in ELIZABETH, VERONICA GUERIN, THE GIFT, ELIZABETH THE GOLDEN AGE, CHARLOTE GRAY, LITTLE FISH, HEAVEN. Seven movies. Also leading in Bandits, The curious case of Benjamin Button, Robin Hood, The Good German, Notes on a Scandal, The Missing, Oscar and Lucinda (she was Lucinda)…
I keep listening to the news speak about getting free online grant applications so I have been looking around for the best read to get one.:)
