OlderWyclef Jean Snaps Back at Sean Penn in Song
Wyclef Jean kills Sean Penn softly with his song as he performs a re-make of his 2004 song, “President,” at Hot 97′s On the Reggae Tip Concert in New York City on Friday (September 3).
After Sean, 50, and former Fugees bandmate Pras, 37, criticized Wyclef‘s highly publicized bid and subsequent withdrawal from the Haitian presidential race, the 40-year-old Yéle Haiti Foundation founder had some choice words for the two of them.
Here are some of Wyclef‘s lyrics: “I got a message for Sean Penn/ Maybe he ain’t see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine/ I got a message for Praswell/ Even though you don’t want to support me/ I got love for you/Even though you only kicked 8 bars in the Fugees.”

sean penn used his OWN money to go down to haiti as soon as the earthquake hit and has been there since. i don’t care if the man is sniffing lue everyday. he is helping. wyclef should think about that before outing a foreigner who is trying to help a country he has no personal connection too. also, wyclef was running for president, this is soooo low of him for a potential candidate. so crass and classless. then again, he is just a buffoon. ego is huge. the guy owes millions to the irs. he needs to shut up.
