Carey stars in Never Let Me Go, which opens in limited release on Sept. 15 and co-stars Keira Knightley and Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield. Her other movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps opens Sept. 24 and co-stars boyfriend Shia LaBeouf!

I’ve only seen her in An Education, but I feel in love!
Hardly surprising that she should go from indie darling to Hollywood’s hottest face…she’s such a talented actress and her face is truly beautiful. She has that rare elfin beauty that still looks so untouched and I like it that she hasn’t felt the need to pluck her eyebrows out of non existence. Such an ugly look! She’s kept her’s natural.
Yes, a true talent, and actually humble poised and sweet. So happy she scored such a huge cover. She looks stunning on it.

Carey’s an excellent actress, but isn’t great at posing. I find that she always looks slightly uncomfortable in shoots for magazines, which is wholly understandable considering how quickly she rose to fame.

She is plain and boring. I saw An Education and do not get the hype. The movie was average and so was Carey’s acting. American Vogue sales are down almost 20%. Another cover with a boring starlet isn’t going to help them. Nothing creative about this shoot at all. Wintour has really failed to capture modern fashion and readers have moved on. I put Carey in the same category as Amanda Seyfried and that is sweetly boring. Neither of them are exciting.

@ faux fashion – well who do you consider a good actress? Paris Hilton? JJ fave Rachel Bilson?? Jessica Simpleton?? That’s the problem with truly talented actors – you can’t tell they’re acting.
