Jennifer Aniston in Cougar Town -- FIRST LOOK

Check out this first still of Jennifer Aniston on the season premiere of BFF Courteney Cox‘s ABC series Cougar Town. Thanks, TV Guide!

As reported last month, Jen plays Courteney’s shrink named Bonnie. Exec producer Bill Lawrence has said, “Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist. Those guys are so close in real life they kind of do that for each other anyway. Bonnie has the life [Courteney's character] Jules’ wishes she has.”

Jen‘s Cougar Town episode will air on Wednesday (Sept. 22) @ 9:30PM ET on ABC.

Back on tv where she belongs. Too bad Courney acts rings around the bed-hopper yet the bed-hopper is the one who gets roles in films. But perhaps thats because Courtney doesn’t lower herself to fuqking her way through Hollywood and doing Producers to get hired. She has class.

They are very hot!

# 5

It’s a shame Jennifer can’t dissociate herself from “Friends”. I’m sure she’s bigger than that.

# 6

love them together, can’t wait to see it !!

Love them together, can’t wait…

# 8

She’ll never be free of the Rachel tag doing this.

# 9

Courteney is prettier and much more talented.
She should be considered as the “bigger star”

@Sami:

I totally agree and also think she’s Rachel in every film she does.

I mean “movie”. Sorry, I’m german.

Yay Monica and Rachel together! Older but still looking good.

Bill Lawrence is smart. Jennifer Aniston is a great publicity for Cougar Town. And she looks better than Courteney Cox here.

LMAO
2 aging has beens that canot open a film. LOL

Aniston is so boring & the sanme, same same, same, same

How sweeeeeeeeet!!!

She actually wore her hair wavy this time. Wow, .she is an actress that really knows how to change it up and stretch..hahaha…not.

Jennifer + any role = same/Rachel.

@Sami: Maybe you should learn how to spell Courteney’s name correctly before kissing her ass so much.

@Martin: SO true! These 2 b!tches need to lay off the surgery – their faces are starting to look weird!!!!!!!

I wonder if she ever thinks of DONATING MONEY TO, OR VISITING the Pakistani flood victims or the Haitian earthquake survivors when she’s getting her hair highlighted or while she’s poluting the environment with her Smartwater bottles and while poluting the air with her cigarettes while ‘STANDING UP TO CANCER’) and while filming her naked perfume ads…..

….Also, I kinda like Courtney….but she’s starting to look like THE JOKER from Batman…..just sayin’…

JEN STILL HASN'T APOLOGIZED! @ 09/08/2010 at 1:10 pm

Dear Star Magazine Editor,
-

I’m aware that your periodical primarily focuses on the Entertainment, Gossip and Style aspects of our society, but I’ve also noticed your singular ability to challenge, expose, and ‘call out’ celebrities & public figures on any of their damaging actions or public statements on important issues that may be of concern to the general public.
-

It is for this reason that I am extremely surprised and disappointed about your LACK of focus on Jennifer Aniston’s casual use of what is primarily a derogatory SLUR against persons with disabilities, and her subsequent disregard for the offense she may have caused them by her failure to issue an apology, much less acknowledge what she’d done. In my estimation, it is very important that this story be covered…

-
Children and adults with learning disabilities and special needs are usually at increased risk for being bullied, so continued use of the horrible word ‘******’ in a public forum when describing a person only adds to their difficulties. That said, It is extremely disturbing that, by all appearances, STAR Magazine seems to be completely ignoring (thereby further condoning) Ms. Anistons unacknowledged faux pas after a full TWO WEEKS following the incident, and you apparently haven’t followed up with her manager and/or publicist on why she hasn’t thus far even admitted to her mistake.
-
This woman is clearly oblivious to the pain she inflicted when she used that offensive SLUR on a national TV show (which has impressionable children watching), and seems unconcerned that this word is constantly used to diminish the faculties of persons with disabilities, which they oftentimes have to battle their WHOLE LIVES to overcome! As a supporter of the 1990 ADA, It is truly vexing to witness that this celebrity has surprisingly managed to receive a ‘pass’ from your magazine with regard to the follow-up reporting on this matter, while other public figures like Kristen Stewart and Kanye West (who are decades her junior, and who DID apologize) are pummeled in the media for similar incidents.
-
We all make mistakes, so I am sure that those with disabilities and their families would be accepting of Ms. Aniston’s apology, providing that her statements of regret were made in the same WIDELY PUBLIC forum that her incredibly absent-minded statements were so casually uttered, however, she has remained alarmingly silent, which unfortunately adds INSULT to INJURY.

-
Additionally, it is especially worrying that this appears to be her normal speech pattern amongst her colleagues, as her good friend, Talk Show Host Chelsea Handler, used the SAME despicable word when describing her shows employees at the end of her monologue just a week after the Aniston incident. With all due respect to Ms. Aniston, If this word were not part of her normal vocabulary, I dare say she would have noticed her error immediately during the show, if not publicly sometime thereafter, but as I said, this has not yet happened.
-
Consequently, I am deeply concerned that a popular national publication such as yourself fails to recognize the insensitivity with reference to Ms. Aniston’s handling of this incident, and how her continued avoidance of the matter is an issue worthy of inquiry and reporting. Your readers, as well as her audience, are owed some explanation for her comments, not to mention the people with special needs and their families whom she offended!
-
At the present time, I am not quite sure which is more shameful; her silence on the matter, or your publications apparent and complete acquiescence of her silence on the matter. If your publication has any integrity, you would do a follow-up story on this issue, and perhaps suggest that this woman publicly clarify to her audience that she doesn’t approve of this word being used in this manner as a pejorative towards VALUED individuals, and that she extend heartfelt apologies to those sweet souls whom she offended. If not that, then you should at least offer a printed inquiry as to why her publicist is ignoring the matter.
-
In short, …instead of STAR Magazine continuously publishing stories heralding Ms. Aniston’s ‘fabulous beach-body’ and her reunion with boy-toy ‘flavor-of-the-month’ John Mayer (..as is currently featured on your website!), perhaps those of your Readers who are like me, and concerned about the betterment and livelihood of persons with Special Needs, would be better served if you occasionally focused on something more substantive, and perhaps held this celebrity accountable for her offensive comments, something which would help eliminate the ignorant and incorrect use of this UGLY word.
-

Seriously Reconsidering My Readership,

JSHA

I always thought Courtney was stunning, she still is. Never understood the Aniston love, I always thought she was “cute” , but not as talented or attractive as Courtney. I have Aniston fatigue, regardless, and I will not be watching this episode. It’s like those people you know who keep re-living high school and can’t move on, the cast of friends should never, ever, do any acting together from this point forward. That is, if you can call what Aniston does “acting”, I said she was cute, but I never said she could act.
