Penelope Cruz is 4.5 months pregnant with her and husband Javier Bardem‘s first child!
“Penelope Cruz is four-and-a-half months pregnant. At the moment she is on her way to London where the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is almost finished,” her agent said on Tuesday (September 14).
Penelope, 36, and Javier, 41, married in the Bahamas back in July when she was two months pregnant.

Alot of people figured that was what was up when they got married. They had always planned to get married of course but once she found out she was pregnant that just sped the wedding up really really fast lol

I think it may be twins! She looks much bigger, def further along than 4 and a half so maybe it’s twins? Either way, so happy for them as they are a great couple!

I do wish everyone would stop commenting about how she looks so big it must be twins. I happen to be 5 1/2 months pregnant myself, and am involved in a “due date group” of other women expecting in January. I’ve seen pictures of their baby bumps and it honestly has next to nothing to do with multiple births. Yes, having multiples would make her show quicker, but even with a single baby, It has to do with how your body is structured, and how you carry the baby. Cruz was in really good shape before getting pregnant- there was probably no where for the child to go but OUTward. That’s probably all it is people.

Wonder how they’re handling her obvious pregnancy on set in Pirates 4? Is her character supposed to be preggers do you think? (A little Jack Sparrow – now that would be cute!)
@samanthar: She means that they are obviously not hiding Penelope’s pregnancy so Penelope’s character must be pregnant at all, possibly by Captain Jack.

What the original poster meant was she’s very obviously preggers so maybe she will be in the movie aswell, and jack sparrow will be the dad.

@Loni: Nobody is saying that she must be carrying twins, we are saying she *may* be carrying twins. Oh, and being in good shape doesn”t have to mean that your stomach will go outward. On the contrary, it’s more often that you see women with small bumps even when much later in the pregnancy if they’ve been quite fit before. Anyway, people are saying ‘maybe’. We aren’t accusing them of a crime, we are saying maybe a double blessing so really, why the fit?!
they wouldn’t lie about how far along she is it’s dangerous to announce a pregnancy too early especially if your a celebrity. a first pregnancy shows later than subsequent ones do and accidents can still happen. not saying anything will but pregnancy can be fraught with fright and heartbreak and the heartbreak can linger for a lfietime.
