Jennifer Connelly: What's Wrong With TIFF?

Jennifer Connelly is all smiles at the press conference for her film What’s Wrong with Virginia at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday (September 16) in Toronto, Canada.

The 39-year-old actress donned a tuxedo ensemble for the movie’s premiere the day prior. The comedy, about a mentally disturbed woman whose daughter falls in love with the son of an image-conscious sheriff, costars Emma Roberts and Ed Harris.

Dustin Lance Black, the Oscar-winning writer of Milk, directed the pic and loved working with his star. “I’d like to have Jennifer Connelly in every one of my movies. I’m in love with her,” he told USA Today.

y’alls are right, she does wear alot of black haha

well, but to her credit, they’re not drab black frocks. they’re really nice ones, and they don’t all look the same. they’re different styles.

plus, she looks amazing in them.

so whatever to her thing for black i guess.

    Your headline makes no sense!!

  • viv

    so pretty!!!!!

  • Stacey

    Gorgeous! Love the shoes!

  • kuriouskitty

i dont get it. she got WAY too skinny…she’s a good actress too, but her bones potruding out of her clothing is very distractin. why do actresses want to look like teenage boys?

  • remit

So because a woman is skinny she automatically looks like a teenage boy? I don’t care for people who think it is their place to judge people’s looks and say mean things about them. Post a picture of yourself and let’s see who is more attractive.

  • qwerty

I think she ages very well. I think there are way more skinny and unhealthy young models out there than Jen. She just sticks to her veggies and works out in moderation, unlike Madonna.
She has the elegance that no young hot star can achieve at their age. And most importantly, as an actress, she ain’t just another pretty face, her acting is much better than how she looks. (she ardy looks damn gorgeous)

  • KuriousKitty

looks dont matter. but they do if your portraying a certain character and little girls are looking up to you. every movie she’s in she looks hungry. that is VERY distracting…come on now ppl!!sorry, but id rather watch meryl streep. she’s a great actress and never looks hungry. not to say she’s overweight or anything, but its not distracting. im not trying to be mean, but ive seen jennifer connelly in labyrinth and she has definitely gotten bony since. its a stupid fad and little girls look up to these women. time to snap out of it hollywood. lets go back to the marilyn monroe healthy “glamorous” look days. @remit:

  • KuriousKitty

@KuriousKitty: i think she’s a good actress, thats not the point…why would i post a pic of myself? im not skinny or fat, i dont have a personal trainer or a hair and make-up artist…im just sick of the skinny fad…unless your naturally skinny, its not healthy for society… act for the art
