Lindsay Lohan: I Failed Drug Test
Lindsay Lohan has admitted she’s in the wrong!
“Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result,” the 22-year-old actress wrote on her Twitter. “Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.”
Lindsay continued, “This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences. I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful….Thank you all!!!”
Linds could face 30 days behind bars for each of the drug tests she falied.
We support you, Lindsay!!!

OH WOW that’s so weird… NEVER thought that would happen…
so sad….
anyway new redhead in town Emma Stone, and she’s no Lindsay Lohan
must have been written for her, she takes responsibility.
Why in the world did they let her out of rehab so early?!?!
This couldn’t have been written by Lindsey-it lacked all her usual misspells, typos, grammatical errors, etc. Just not her style at all.
Perhaps if she took quitting seriously? There’s no ‘bottom’ for her because she always has support. Sadly, it’s more enabling than anything else.
Dina Lohan was on Entertainment Tonight with Lindsay, sitting by when her daughter denied having a drug problem. She is a horrible parent. she tries to be her daughters friend and Lindsay needs someone mature and responsible she can lean on. What is Dina going to say now? Its all Michaels fault? Dina is such an enabler. She should go to jail with Lindsay. I think that when people have addictions instead of simply releasing them to be on their own, it should be like getting bail, where someone is responsible for you. Someone the court approves of. Hopefully a sponsor, like people get from aa.
@Kara: OMG I thought the same thing. And Emma Stone is smoking hot.
Lol! And ppl thought two weeks in jail and a few more weeks in rehab would help her.
man, she needs help. and no one around her is helping her. and those who try to are pushed away by the people in charge of her. It sucks man.
boo-hoo-
poor lindsay.. what an arrogant, spoiled, self-centered, moron. her stupidity is exceeded only by her lack of talent and her standing as one of hollywood’s biggest ******… her and paris should do the world a favor and o.d. and rid the planet of 2 worthless parasites…
Oh, dear. I’m sure Lindsey has just booked a special manicure for her court appearance.
And now all of a sudden she has an addiction? She needs to be thrown in rehab for her own good. Her mom is one huge enabling fail.
Whether or not this was actually written by Lindsay doesn’t really matter. What is said in this message is true. Drug addiction is a disease. I have no respect for Lindsay Lohan – she’s tired, obnoxious, and has lost so much of her natural talent. But she’s also a victim, as much as it pains me to say it. Her youth was stunted, just as Britney Spears’ was. She’s a 12-year-old trapped in a 24-year-old’s body. The people who made money off of her are the ones at fault. The yes-men. They should be ashamed of themselves. Now, it is up to Linsday to turn her whole life around. Everything she’s ever known must change. That’s a tall order, no? I hope she wises up and finds some people that actually love and want to rehabilitate her. And I hope she realizes that she has to want to get better for all her efforts to work. Until then, c’mon Jared, these Lindsay stories are a bore.
JJ, I am one who does NOT support Lindsay. She is only sorry because she got CAUGHT. If she had really learned anything she would have never left rehad..
Honestly, I don’t feel sorry for her. Jail + rehab and she failed a drug test with cocaine? She’s going to end up dead if she doesn’t kick out the bad influences in her life, spend more time in rehab or jail.
Kudos for writing that Lindsay. It will help so many people. Good luck with getting well. It’s a tough road but you can do it. Drugs are a terrible things. You can beat it.
wow. what a waste of a life. i honestly have the sad feeling that there is no helping this girl…whats sad is that normally u would want a person like this to be surrounded only by family to help get better but her own mom is a ****** who just does whatever her daughter says and wants to be cool. that is not a mother.
lindsay really has no one to turn to who is smart and who will help guide her, which is sad. unless she REALLY wants to change and she hits like ROCK BOTTOM then she can turn her life around, but she needs someone smart to step in and help her until she can change completely, just like britney. britney’s dad had to step in and take charge, but sadly, who will do that for lindsay?
hopefully she learns something
I thought she said she didn’t have a drug problem. If she’s serious, perhaps she should take the initiative and check herself into a rehab facility.
it just goes to show that ur parents really influence who u become. her dad had a serious drug problem and he passed that down to his daughter
She’s all talk. She says shes changed but she hasnt.
“Substance abuse is a disease’
its NOT a disease!! i hate when people say drugs and alcohol is a disease.
there just making an excuse to put the blame on somethings else and not their own self
I support you Lilo. Chin up!
>>but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else.
Bullshit. If you were a work in progress you’d be checked in into a rehab facility where qualified people would be helping you cure your ‘disease’ rather than going around riding the jet-set as usual
@sally:
You’re right, it’s not a disease. Cancer is a disease, drugs and alcohol are a life choice. You don’t choose to have cancer, but you do choose to be an addict. Addicts are simply cowards with no will power who use addictive substances as a crutch to get themselves through life. They are weak willed whereas many cancer sufferers and sufferers of other true diseases, by comparison, are very strong willed and courageous people.
