David Beckham: Back In Action with the L.A. Galaxy!
David Beckham returns to the soccer field for the second time after a six-month injury on Saturday (September 18) at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
His team, the L.A. Galaxy, defeated D.C. United 2-1 with the help of Landon Donovan, who scored two late goals in the match.
Landon, 28, celebrated by taking off his shirt and hydrating with some Gatorade!
Last weekend, David, 35, made his first appearance since tearing his left Achilles’ tendon in March. During Saturday’s game, David was also spotted getting a quick leg massage from one of the team’s staff members.

i love landon! he has always come through for his team
what has david done for the team again?
for some reason, girls prefer leaner type guys than the body builder type!! why?
I Love David Beckham
He Look Hot
@ steph ..donovan missed his penalty in the MLS Cup final, while beckham scored..david will always be a winner..
Landon is hot. Glad he and his wife split up, he’s too young to be married.
I am so happy David is playing again! His injury was very serious but thankfully his recovery was excellent and now he can play again after almost six months!
It’s great seeing him on the football field again,he must have waited for this moment with great anticipation!I wish him all the best for this season with the Galaxy and no more injuries!
Beckham = Overrated. Donovan = Awesome.
@Nicky:
Wow…Beckham scored a goal? Dude, Donovan made the US go through the WC and now, scored two goals. Beckham may have been great on his days but now, he’s just a prop used to get popularity for football. He’s no use for football anymore.
@7 US was still a no show at the world cup, did they even win a game?. Anyways its ridiculous to compare beckham and donovan. Beckham in his day was one of the greatest players in europe and has played for three huge clubs. Where as when donovan came to the premier league he signed with one of the worst clubs and was sent back to US cause he couldn’t handle the competition.
@uhh “Where as when donovan came to the premier league he signed with one of the worst clubs and was sent back to US cause he couldn’t handle the competition.”
*You really don’t know anything, do you? Everton wanted desperately to keep him. He was Player of the Month for the month of January. He was arguably the best player on the pitch when everton faced Man U and Arsenal. Bottom line: when you don’t know what you’re talking about, it’s best not to say anything at all otherwise you’ll look like an idiot.
Yawn! Who cares about this PANSY boy? Go back to the UK! Beckham is a DOUCHE!!
@Daria: I was born and raised in Liverpool. My cousins play for everton youth academy and I played for Newcastle youth. I think I might know a little more bout football than you. Fact is Donovan did win player of the month, but regardless he makes horrible decisions on the pitch and doesn’t have the skill set to compete in Europe.
