Angelina Jolie Casts Zana Marjanovic in Her Directorial Debut

Angelina Jolie has chosen Bosnian actress Zana Marjanovic as the female lead in her directorial debut — a wartime love story between a Bosnian woman and a Serbian man.

Zana, 27, said that the the screenplay was “fabulous” and she could not wait to start shooting with such a “great actress and humanist” like Angie (she will serve as director, producer and screenwriter).

Hungary and Bosnia will both be used as locations to shoot the movie. Can’t wait!
