OlderAlexis Bledel & Saoirse Ronan: 'Violet & Daisy' Duo
Alexis Bledel and Saoirse Ronan shoot scenes for their new movie, Violet & Daisy, in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Tuesday afternoon (September 28).
The twosome play the title characters — two teenage assassins accepting what they think will be a quick-and-easy job, until an unexpected target throws them off their plan.
This will be Geoffrey Fletcher‘s directorial debut. Machete‘s Danny Trejo and James Gandolfini will also star.

I dont know what kind of tone they’re going for with this…but i hope its a comedy.
looking forward to it…..I like unsuspected people that can kick ass and do some serious damage. 2011 for films alone is looking pretty uh-mazing.

The movie sounds interesting, but I watch them mostly for certain actors. Alexis being one of them and admittedly my favourite. I think it was about time she got some grittier roles. Again, something to look forward to.

I’m thrilled to see Alexis gets a hopefully gritty part. Except for Sin City, I’ve never seen her do anything but “Rory” on screen, so really hoping she can create a different character.
Ronan has really grown up; it’s nice to see an actress looking so healthy.

Wow i can’t wait to see this movie!!! Saoirse is such a brilliant actress! i also really like Alexis! Though, she’s like 28-29 years old and play a teenage assasin? Saoirse is 16 so it makes sence…but yeah, kinda weird for Alexis lol.
