Dawson is a dad!
James Van Der Beek and his wife, Kimberly Brook, are the proud parents of Olivia Van Der Beek, they announced last night.
“Had the blessing of becoming a father over the weekend… Couldn’t come close to describing this bliss even if I had 140 million characters,” he wrote on his Twitter, adding, “I apologize in advance for any obnoxiously precious new-dad tweets that may follow. “I’m under her spell…”
James and Kelly married over the summer in Israel. This is the first child for both.

I’m confused – is his wife’s name Kimberly or Kelly? Whatever it is, congratulations to them both on the birth of their daughter.

@Lucky Charm: His wife’s name is Kimberly. JJ got it wrong in the last sentence. And yeah, Olivia is a nice name – so nice I want to name my first daughter that (assuming I have one). Hope the girl looks like her mother though, her father isn’t an attractive man at all.
Congrats on the baby. Just hope her head wasn’t daddy’s size. Ouch!

@Lucky Charm: Well, there does seem to be some debate about just who, in fact, is Suri’s biological father. And Suri does resemble Josh quite a lot… so… it depends on what you’re willing to believe, I guess.
