The 38-year-old actress high-fived her older daughter Violet, 4, and even turned Sera upside down!
Jen and 20-month-old Seraphina watched Violet practice soccer from the sidelines.
At one point, Violet appeared sad and upset, but after a mother-daughter chat off the field, she seemed to cheer up!
On Thursday, Jen attended Variety‘s 2nd Annual Power of Women Luncheon, where she was recognized for her work with Save the Children, which works to create positive, lasting change for disadvantaged kids.

Ben and Jen do absolutely nothing for me, but their kids are pretty adorable. Especially that little Violet. Is she ever not smiling?

Beautiful family so cool and laid back, you were never know they are rich and famous. I love it when celebs keep it real and don’t flaunt their wealth or showboat. So refreshing.

Ben is out of town filming the new Terence Malick movie, in Arizona if I am not wrong.

Well Ben’s movie is out…so no need to hang out with the family..
Garner seems like a good mom… well we have enough pictures of her and her daughters to make a family album..
But she always looks so dirty and unkempt. I get she wants to be the “good mother” but why does she always look like she just needs a bath. And she like all the celeb mothers have help. We see pics of the nanny. So really. Fix yourself up a bit.. maybe then your husband will want to spend time with you and the girls outside of promoting his film..
a bit harsh.. but still the truth.
Maybe Violet is sad because she is NEVER wearing the right cloths or shoes for soccer..

She looks super clean. Overall too. Torn jeans or not. Very often wearing her hair freshly washed and wet.
Obviously most of you are not moms and therefore don’t understand when you see a woman taking care and loving her children. Ben is such an absentee husband and father what does it matter what he is doing. She, on the other hand has her priorities straight, she is a natural beauty and when she is dressed up – a knockout. Any man in the real world would be lucky to have such a beautiful wife and loving, committed mother to his children. Those children were blessed in at least one half of the parental unit.
There were pictures of Ben with his girls just last week.
OH give me a break.. working mothers don’t have to look like sh*t to prove that they are good parents. And yes she sometimes looks good on a red carpet.. but walking out of the house with wet hair and torn jeans does not mean she is a better parent then the other moms that take a minute to at least dry and brush their hair.. She lives in a multi million dollar home. And I am quite sure that home has a big yard. YET she is ALWAYS in my opinion parading her kids at the park o show what a great hands on mother she is.
That myth that every working mother has to look haggard and tired is a lie. I have friends who are parents; working in the home and outside and they manage to at least put on clothes that look clean and run a brush through their hair. Garner has help and she is not without resources. Just like she has help watching the kids when she is at an event then she can have them watch the kids while she cleans herself up. So sick of the 50′s mentality of what makes someone a good parent.
YES I think she is hands on and loving.. her children look healthy and happy.. but please she is no better then the other mothers out there.
@sunny I agree about Ben.. but Jen is not the only parent that is devoted and caring to her children.. the difference is we see her and her children together on a daily basis.. other parents doing what she does on camera not so much.
and funny no one scream about her pimping her kids.. NO I don’t think she is but double standard much.. YEAH

That’s dumb to suggest that because she takes her kids out she’s pimping them. Give me a break. What is she supposed to do? Keep them locked up in the yard? Keeping her kids isolated so that they’re weird and unsocialized would make her a bad parent. Get a life.
their family is perfect! so funny that both kids have blonde hair, and both parents have brown hair haha. oh genetics. :)

I’m not sure what you mean by “parading”? When she takes her children to the park … introduces them to organized sport … helps them to develop social skills, she is “parading” her children? There are always parents at the park with their kids — what are they doing? Are they parading them too? I took mine out there yesterday with his new bike – was I flaunting my wealth?
It’s not her fault that she is houded by the media and that people without enough to do in their own lives, are compelled to look at the photos.
In *my* opinion, Ms. Garner is making the best of what must be a difficult situation. She has to endure the petty criticism of people who have no idea what they are talking about … people who evaluate an entire life by a random selection of snapshots .. as if a photo taken of a random moment at a park is indicative of a woman’s femininity or or her grooming or how full her heart is of love for her children or the state of her marriage … or their absence in that same photo means they are a negligent parent.
Trust … I have a far better opinion of Jen Garner from these photos than I do of the people who make unkind, uncalled for and uninformed remarks in regards to them. And, yes, I mean YOU.
