Christina Aguilera: New 'Burlesque' Trailer!

Christina Aguilera dons some pearl-decorated lingerie in a scene from the upcoming movie, Burlesque, out November 24.

Pic tells the story of Ali (Aguilera), a small-town girl with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams to LA. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club’s proprietor and headliner. Burlesque’s outrageous costumes and bold choreography enrapture the young ingenue, who vows to perform there one day.

Soon enough, Ali builds a friendship with a featured dancer (Julianne Hough), finds an enemy in a troubled, jealous performer (Kristen Bell), and garners the affection of Jack (Cam Gigandet), a bartender and fellow musician. With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager (Stanley Tucci) and gender-bending host (Alan Cumming), Ali makes her way from the bar to the stage. Her spectacular voice restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory, though not before a charismatic entrepreneur (Eric Dane) arrives with an enticing proposal…

…i’m surprised they didn’t scrap this movie, or at least push the release date back a few months. after that epic fail of an album you’d think they’d expect this movie to glitter-it.

christina’s acting looks good, like natural-seeming.
i looove stanley tucci.

the only thing is i think of burlesque as being more about dancing(?) but then it looks like she sings in it and obv she is the ultimate singer, so it just seems kinda off.
i dunno, have to see it i guess.

Not worth my time and money.

@André: Christina’s voice isn’t what it used to be anymore.

With all the star cast? wow… I love Cher… I love Stanley Tucci…. I love Eric Dane… hahaha.. and Julianne Hough clapping for Christina was funny. I think this one is going to be so much better than Showgirls…

This trailer gives me chills. I gotta see this!

Hi i am so happy I found your blog, I seriously found you by mistake, while I was searching Yahoo for something else, At Any Charge I am right here now and would just prefer to say thank you for a wonderful blog posting along with a all spherical intriguing weblog (I also adore the theme/design), I don’t have time to examine all of it in the correct now but I have bookmarked it and nice facts, this genuinely useful for me. There’s nothing to argue about.

Hard to say what the total outcome is here-Cher is one charismatic star, and Stanley Tucci is amazing. Christina is whitebread, and the singing on preview too forced-but we will see!

WOW! I can’t wait to see this! Cher and Christina together on screen! OMG its gonna be fantastic! Christina is THE best singer EVER … there is no doubt about that! I’m thrilled to see her on screen, acting, singing and dancing as the tripple threat she really is! I LOVE that woman! What an absolute inspiration! :) Major fan! And SO grateful that she shares … SO grateful. Xx

I’ve seen Burlesque twice. I LOVE IT! Its fun, fun, fun. Its a great holiday movie.
