Daniel Radcliffe goes colorful in an edgy new fashion shoot for UK style magazine Dazed & Confused.
“Daniel was not an obvious choice for a Dazed & Confused,” said Rod Stanley, the magazine’s editor. “Which is of course one of the reasons we were interested in working with him. I met him on the shoot and he was so open and enthusiastic about our visual direction even though he was slathered in paint and feathers at the time. I think these striking images by Serge Leblon and Robbie Spencer will challenge fans to consider him in a new light.”
Talk about shedding that good boy Harry Potter image!

Whoa… Alright, dude, do your thing. He sure as heck is breaking out. Smart kid. Can’t have people only seeing him with those glasses and that scar. But I think doing Equus already shed that good boy image.

He’s trying too hard to escape Harry Potter. Making himself look ugly and bizarre is hardly necessary. Cool down, Dannyboy, and just do other non-Pottery things.
@jim he’s definitely not “trying too hard.” this was just a funky photo shoot. he’s done photo shoots with odd costuming before.
Daniel is awesome! he’s honest about himself, witty and very interesting.

@emily: Doing a “funky” photo shoot is trying way too hard by definition. One thing it can’t cover up is how teeny tiny he is.

@Iffy Miffy: The correct word would be “envy” not “jealousy”. I gather you don’t know the difference. Not sure why I should be “envious”. He’s a kid who struck it rich, is a good actor at times, quite nice in person by all accounts, charming in interviews, but headed perhaps toward alcoholism. He is already a typical English “binge” drinker. Too early to tell how he’ll end up.
