'If I Can Dream' Cast Bares All for PETA Campaign

Check out this all new anti-fur campaign for PETA featuring If I Can Dream‘s Giglianne Braga, Ben Elliott and Justin Gaston

Back in July, teaser shots were released for the campaign.

“I don’t understand how people can [wear fur], really,” Giglianne, a vegetarian, said. “Just torture and kill like that for the sake of fashion.”

Justin shared that he was a little nervous about going nude with his roommates. “This is definitely the …raciest thing I’ve ever done,” he said, adding that he was “really, really glad” to have been a part of the campaign.

I see nothing wrong with wearing fur – it’s if it’s good enough for the animals, it’s good enough for us. Just raise them and humanely kill them, then use the meat for food. People raise mice just to feed their snakes, and that’s not disturbing?

This campaign came out months and months ago. Why is this news again?

@Persnickity: We all have our own opinions. I don’t have much against fur, except that I hate it when women think it’s fashionable. I used to love it as a kid to pet since it felt cool, but men don’t wear fur and women shouldn’t either. If not for the sake of the animals, then the sake of looking decent. Also, people don’t wear cows and pigs…

@Dan:

You don’t think people wear cows and pigs? Where do you think leather shoes & purses come from? Until the middle of the last century people routinely wore furs (hats, coats, boots) out of necessity and for warmth, until it became a status symbol. But since I can’t afford a fur coat anyway, I guess it’s a useless argument…

Why don’t celebs help REAL animal causes – like the ASPCA or Human Society or their local animal shelters! Such a shame!

that girl is sexy! damn

@Persnickity: Leather is not fur, thanks.

@Persnickity:
The problem is that we don not eat fox, minx, wolf or other animals which are killed for fur.
It’s completely superficial and egotic to wear fur. Why chosing to wear a coat an animal has been killed for (and only for that), when high quality faux exists???

Those guys are so beautifully hot for a great cause. You go dudes!
