Alec Baldwin shares that there’s only one thing getting in the way of his marriage to Jesse Tyler Ferguson in this new video for Fight Back New York, an marriage equality movement.

“As a result of [Jesse's video confessing a crush], a vast and malicious whisper campaign has emerged, alleging that I can’t marry Jesse because I’m not gay,” the 52-year-old actor dished. “I hear people saying this behind my back on a daily basis.”

“There is one reason and one reason only why I can’t marry Jesse,” Alec added, “The New York state Senate.”

“No one tells a New Yorker that they can’t marry Jesse Tyler Ferguson,” Alec concluded.
