Lea Michele & Zac Efron to Star in 'New Years Eve' Movie?

Lea Michele is in talks to star in the ensemble romantic comedy New Years Eve, which will be the follow up to this year’s Valentine’s Day, according to E!

The film has not yet been green-lit, but director Garry Marshall (Pretty Women, The Princess Diaries) wants Lea “big-time.”

Other actors that Garry is going after for the film include Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, and teen superstar Justin Bieber.

Lea is currently featured on the cover of GQ with her Glee co-stars Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith, which has caused controversy with some calling the spread inappropriate.

I don’t find them to be compatible.
The GQ spread is controversy because the parent’s who watch and rate Glee are so strict, they need to remove the stick from their ass.

I find all of these esemble romantic movies with the newbie actors really weak. The story gets lost by these people grandstanding.

It doesn’t take much to be hot in Hollywood. Quality is hard to come by ..just ask Jon Hamm who had been struggling in H-Wood for years until MadMen.

Garry Marshall, you have just lost all credibility

Please. He’s got plenty to choose from.

valentine’s day was awful and monotonous, but at the same time, new year’s eve seems to be a holiday that has more potential to craft a more interesting plot. i love lea and think it would be nice to see her branch out to do something in which she didn’t sing, because she seems to be defined by her immensely gorgeous voice, but she’s quite a talented actress as well. if this was done well and had a solid script, it would definitely be something to look forward to.

Zac has way too many good projects ready to go with his own production company. I just don’t see him even considering a movie like this. Here’s to Ninjas Running Wild.
