Michelle Obama Shows Off Her Green Thumb

Michelle Obama greets fifth graders from Bancroft Elementary on Wednesday (October 20) to the White House in Washington, D.C.

The 46-year-old First Lady and local students picked produce for the White House Kitchen Garden Fall Harvest, including a 4-pound sweet potato!

After harvesting the veggies, the elementary schoolers washed, sliced and diced veggies into a garden salad that they enjoyed later that afternoon.

The White House garden has produced 1600 pounds of food so far this year and feeds the First Family as well as White House guests.
