singing the national anthem with his hand in his pocket. i dont know about the States, but in my country it would be considered very offensive.

  • Paula

Who advertised this? I had no idea or I would’ve participated. Jeez, media reports BS & then lets something important slide under the radar.

  • Janelle

Love to see him doing good deeds. Keep being positive and doing positive things Chris! You have fans who love you!

  • B3 Fearless

@ Paula – I agree. I live in the Baltimore area and had I known about this I could have participated. Very poor advertising indeed.

@MR – While I understand your point about respect, you are also giving a great example of being negative about some one doing something positive.

Some might find it offensive others like myself do not, especially knowing how cold it was this morning.

It is no different than how some U.S. citizens will place their hands over their hearts while the national anthem is sung and others choose not to.

You are free here to do either.

  • Janet

Well this is nice to see him trying to do something good. Its the thought that counts right? But I’m not surprised that people are calling him a “woman beater” like he hit multiple women countless amount of times. There’s always at least one pressed, ignorant person that comments. And thanks Jared for posting something positive. :)

  • melody

I’m so proud of you Chris. Doing positive things. I pray to GOD for you to keep having the faith to continue forward. Keep your head up. Oh by the way Ioved the Yeah 3x video. Can’t wait to download it.Teamrezzy NYC.

  • Bruce

Stopped coming to this site because of all the unwarranted Rihanna hype. It’s about damn time that Jared is once again recognizing talent. The kid made a mistake which he admitted to so it good that Jared is doing a Chris story.

  • tpink

awwww, good for you chris….don’t mess up!

@MR: DO THE WORLD A FAVOR AND SIT YOUR AS ALL THE WAY DOWN AND SHUT THE FU** UP! PPL THESE DAYS JUST CAN NEVER BE SATISFIED.

  • Encourager

Way to go Chris Brown. We could not wait to see you back doing your thing. You are real and your smile lights up the world. Stay true to yourself .

  • Tracie

@YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME: You sicken us…we support redemption! We’re proud of Chris. You’re obviously very drawn to Chris…we understand! It’s called star power!

  • http://jorevcosmetics.com Ms Bar Jolie Gaga

What if it was YOUR mother, daughter, sister, friend who got bitten, hit and beaten to a pulp then left on the side of a road? Enough justifying the actions of men who beat women and children. ENOUGH. Special Olympics should also advertise a 800 hotline for domestic violence when they have this dweeb on. I am not surprised, when it comes to celebs, we excuse their behavior even a woman beater. SICK. This is all a PR stunt on his part because he is FINISHED.

  • jeff

He can’t sing the National Anthem. How do you know it’s not autotuned? You know physical abuse is addiction.

  • polly

    @Tracie

um…NOOOOOO..u support domestic violence…not redemption sweetheart

  • derrick

HE ALREADY LEFT lol.. where is his album on billboard200???? that negro been gone for months he just had that hit song thanks to tyga and the producer of the beat oh and RIHANNA since dueces samples the same instruments as te amo and rudeboy..ijs who cares what this woman beater is doing.. WHY SUPPORT HIM..NEEEEXT!!!

  • Alextricity

    @Encourager:

speak for YOUR world his smiles have no affect on mine..

  • jr

This is shameful. Chris Brown needs to go away. When you take someone’s daughter out, then you need to at least try to make sure she is returned safely. Chris Brown had 4 body guards and poor Rhianna was on her own. She could have easily died. What is this world coming to?

  • http://jorevcosmetics.com Ms Bar Jolie Gaga

Well isn’t it genius. People – actual adults – applauding an abuser. America: we need help. Our priorities are so skewed. I pray for and support all women and children who have been victims of domestic violence. Right now as you read this, countless women are being beaten by a man they know. Stand up against domestic violence!

  • jabar

@christina: Lol charlie sheen didnt beat his girlfriend senseless nor did lindsay lohan or T.I ., they did do drugs and have done prison sentences but who cares-they never tried to have a disney image. Unlike chris who tried to be the sweet innocent choir boy, and then behind closed doors was completely different lol

  • Dino

Basically we have no clue who is beating who. Or who was beating who. We weren’t there were we.So is never accepting anything Chris does standing up against domestic violence? Ppl make mistakes it’s not ours to judge. This is a celeb blog not a support group and Chris is one handsome fk…

  • umm

Oh wow. There is only one hater posting on this with different names. smh. It’s sad how you have to go to so much just to prove how much you really LOVE chris brown. Haha.

  • nkjn794

i am pround of chris for the things he’s done and ppl u really and i mean REALLY need to forget about the rihanna situation hell they have so why cant u!! none of us were in the lamborgini with them so we cant judge and say who did what to whom! and for the record u must really love chris brown alot to be writing big hatred paragraphs about him which means he must be doin sumthing right for u to hate so much LOL!

    P.S: we do love u haters :)

You have ti get back up and that is what Chris is doing. That’s what it is all about in America. I believe people can change and I see Chris is doing the foot work to become a better person. Keep it up. I like the necklace of an American Indian he is wearing. It takes alot of courage to be a warrior. If there was ever a group of peple that know about F.A.M.E. is is the Native Americans. Be respectful of the symbol of the Chief you are wearing around your neck, his values and way of life can guide you in your journey!

I don’t understand the hate for this 21 year old man for something he did when he was 19. I would understand if you didn’t like him, but to hate him so much that you would wish failure and even death? It makes no sense to me. He as done nothing personally to you so you shouldn’t be all in your feelings. Chris Brown did not hurt your mother or daughter so stop treating him like he did. If you don’t care for him, don’t comment. Simple as that.

  • A

@Ms Bar Jolie Gaga how is this a PR stunt when neither Chris Brown nor the event organizers advertised him being there. FYI these pics came from the events twitter page. Chris is not even mentioned on their events official webpage so pls try again with the publicity stunt theory. This event was about the very special ppl that the SO and BB organizations advocate for not Chris Brown so why do they need to advertise an 800 Hotline for DV. Get over yourself you are not that important and Chris Brown does not need to wear a scarlet letter A on his chest for the rest of his life to make amends.
While I’m at it let me just say ATTENTION all Rihanna fans: please have a seat, you are by far the worst and most irritating of all stan groups. You all are the sole reason ppl dislike and bad mouth Rihanna so much, I enjoy her music but refuse to consider myself a fan simply because you. I am TeamChris, TeamTrey, TeamBeyonce, TeamGaga, TeamJustin, TeamMiley….TeamEverybody except Rihanna because her fans are complete idiots and I refuse to associate myself with pure ignorance.

UMMM an i wonder why is it because the ladies they beat the shit out of wasn’t FAMOUS . people are stupid leave the dam boy alone he has did what the court has told him . its not like he got off easy his career suffered also . trust when i say he has paid his price now STFU . The rihanna fans are stupid as hell i guess yall can brush off the fact that she said that she use to HIT HIS ASS also but as soon as her ass got hit back she want to run an tell . IF U DONT WANT TO GET HIT KEEP UR HANDS TO YOUR DAMN SELF . THAT GOES TO THE MEN THAT FIGHT EACH OTHER THE LADIES THAT FIGHT EACH OTHER THE MEN THAT HIT WOMEN AND THE LADIES THAT GO UPSIDE A MAN HEAD BECAUSE THAY THINK HE AINT GOIN TO HIT HER BACK . and i have seen this happen alot were the girl is in his face pushing him throwing shit at him hitting him an as soon as he either push her ass or hit her ass she want to sit there an cry and call the police . people all together need to grow up . • SandeePB

Mr. Make me smile all the time :) Keep up your outstanding good work. I admire your attitude and good deeds :) You’re my number one artist and I’m very proud of you for proving yourself to yourself :)

  • Dino

@Amazed: Noone is sayin anyone deserves any violence.Just sayin move on.gogogo Chris!

  • http://facebook DeeDee

I Love you chris…..im glad your doind your thing again…..

  • Keesha

    @Amazed:
No one ever said that Rihanna deserved to be beaten, that is what many people don’t seem to understand. They think if you want to see someone learn from their mistakes and get a second chance then you are supporting their actions, when that is not the case. I am a Chris Brown fan, but I will never say that Rihanna deserved to be beaten, because no one deserves that, not even Jane Doe from down the street. I am glad that he is continuing on with his music career because I know that many people on this blog that have left negative comments would not have the courage and bravery to continue to do what they love whilst having to pay for a huge and terrible mistake in front of the entire world. I wish him the best.
