I thought the first one was a waste of my time and money. It was NOT scary at all.

Just got back from seeing the second one late this morning. It was, in my opinion, awesome. Definitely made my sister and I jump a few times and had us on the edge of our seats in between.

Honestly, I thought this film wouldn’t be too successful due to the first one being so great, the expectations were low for a sequel, but I was proven wrong. I suppose they kept the concept alive, great film.

Saw this for the midnight showing on Thursday. It was TERRIBLE. Ridiculously slow-paced, tried to feed off of loud noises as a scare factor (which didn’t work.), and had a grand build up for an even worse ending. Everyone left the movie disgusted that they paid to see such a movie.

TLDR; Terrible movie, waste of money.

Didn’t see the first one, not going to see the second one. Put Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Brad Pitt in one of them and I will go watch.

This new one blows the first outta the water! I was scared during the first one but ultimately felt a little underwhelmed.
Paranormal Activity 2 is one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen, and I’m a huge horror buff. I was actually shaken when I left the theater. Almost was afraid to be at home alone that night. Seriously. The whole theater was freaking out.

@LULZ: THE BEST horror film to date. the acting is amazing. the plot is brilliant and tasteful. It has a scare factor all its own. TIP: watch with large audience, it is an interactive movie and yes, it will scare the S**T out of you.

I did not see the first movie, but the second movie is terrible. Takes too long to climax. Acting in terrible and seems low budget. Everytime I thought the movie was gonna pick up and become scary or at least funny. Heh for 10 buck I will take anything but just sitting in the theatre. I even asked for my money back and got a rain check. TERRIBLE
