OlderReese Witherspoon & Ava: Mother-Daughter Triathlon!
Reese Witherspoon cheers on her daughter Ava as they participate in a parent-child triathlon together on Sunday (October 24) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 34-year-old actress competed in the bicycling portion of the race while Ava swam and ran for the mother-daughter duo!
Reese‘s boyfriend Jim Toth and son Deacon sat on the sidelines and cheered on the pair as they competed against a bunch of other teams.
Later in the day, Reese got out of her workout clothes to run some errands in Brentwood.
The day before, Reese reunited with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe to celebrate Deacon’s 7th birthday!

Reese Witherspoon is looking quiet sexy. Its always nice to see a family affair. Who knew that Reese had it in her to run a triathlon.

I like Reese, but she has the worst fashion sense. Her style is way too overrated, and she comes off as trying too hard. It’s not effortless like let’s say Gisele or Cameron Diaz. On the other hand, while Britney Spears’ style is arguable the worst, she’s still not trying too hard. She’s just being herself – unlike Reese. Her boyfriend looks like a major douche too.

Speaking of being pissed off…she always looks that way. Maybe it’s just her face, but her expression always seems to be saying, “EFF OFF!” I dunno. Maybe just because the paps are always harassing her. I like her, but honestly, I wouldn’t wanna be around someone like that a lot.

You never see Ryan with their kids anymore. I guess he doesn’t need to use them as props, or perhaps he has given up taking care of them. I think these poor children are going to be very mixed up adults. So many papas coming and going. Reese’s revolving door.

there is no way paparazzi could get to an event like this how do you manage to have the pictures on the same day of the event? she is shamelessly pimping her kids as usual and Toth looks like he is on the clock.

#10 “Jim” : Jared had pictures Saturday, of Reese with Ryan, Deacon, and Ava, because Deacon wanted to celebrate his birthday with his father, not Tothman!
However, Reese wants us to remember she has a new man. she wanted to make sure Jim was in the “family activities” picture the very next day. Yes he looks like he’s on the clock, but it also looks like Deacon is not very friendly with the Tothman. I’ve noticed that in every single set of pictures taken where he and the kids are both present.
Ryan went to an Xbox event Saturday night. It was mostly parents and kids. David Beckham, Breckin Meyer etc. were photographed with their kids. Ryan either made sure Deacon was not photographed or Reese didn’t allow him to take Deacon to the event.
@Jim: Jim, you never seem to miss an opportunity to bash Ryan. You don’t “see” Ryan with the kids because he shields them from the photographers. He’s never been the one using them as publicity props. And for those of you who say Ava looks just like her mom, you’ve never seen Ryan’s childhood pix.

Ryan has had custody of the kids full-time over the past few months while Reese has been filming. She just sees them on weekends when she isn’t filming. Ryan just knows how to avoid photogs. Plus, since he has them on the weekdays, I’m sure he’s taking them to school, picking them up from school, taking them to soccer practice, having dinner with them at home, etc- not really moments that are often photographed.
This is a private school event. Even casual observers seem surprised that pictures are on this blog. It would be career limiting for you to put them online against RW’s teams wishes. With her money and power she can suppress private moments like this from being published so that is what makes people assume that she is in bed with the blogs and paps. US Weekly has pictures of her last weekend at another school event at a Harvest Fest. She is selling it hard in preparation for that new movie, I notice when she doesn’t have a movie coming out she manages to avoid the paparazzi much better.
