OlderWhitney Port: 'The City' is Over!
The City has run its course.
“As of right now, it doesn’t really look like we’re doing it anymore,” Whitney Port told Ryan Seacrest on Monday (October 25), adding that the show likely won’t move to another network, either.
“It’s okay, one door closes and another opens,” Whitney said optimistically. “I’m working on some other things.”
Whitney recently visited Liberia as part of a charity effort and was most recently spotted in Hawaii snuggling up with beau Ben Nemtin.

Good…but I’m sure MTV will find something worse to replace it with.
Really Laguna Beach was the best thing about these shows and it was ONLY great first two seasons before the kids really started acting for non-scripted tv.
The Hills was worse.
If MTV were smart they revist Laguna cast from seasons one and two and follow them…love to know what Talon’s up to.
I watvched it. At first i liked it.
But hearing her voice trail UP at the end of every statement in that ignorant Valley Girl speak was TOO much.
This girl comunicates like a bimbo, “like, “um” ya know”?

LAGUNA WAS THE BEST.. and that’s it, the hills was sooooo boring and the city was worse
I think The Hills and The City appealed strictly to those interested in fashion. I highly enjoyed Laguna Beach, I gave The Hills a few attempts but it isn’t what I enjoyed. Laguna Beach was awesome, the first couple seasons.

MTV’s moved on to “real” real life dramas like Teen Mom and 16 & Pregnant. Instead of high gloss half-truth scripted reality TV.

Please MTV no more “reality” shows..no more The Hills or The City and no more spin off shows! God I am sick of MTV.
I wish they’d play music again. instead of fake reality shows.
I think MTV will replace “The City” with Lauren Conrad’s new show about her fashion line with Khol’s.
Whitney looks way overdue for a highlight/root job.
