Brilliant! I am a fan of Elijah Wood, hopefully it turns out well and has good dialog, will definitely tune in.

Oh, come on! This sounds like a lame attempt at a twist on HARVEY – an awesome film with Jimmy Stewart made in 1950 in which he has a 6-foot rabbit as a friend and guide. HARVEY is a classic – don’t mess with it!

Whilst I haven’t seen “Harvey”. I have seen the Aussie version. And Wilfred is far from being a guide. He is a foul mouthed, pizza loving, bong smoking pain in the ass! Has potential to be good but last time you guys brought one of our shows (Kath & Kim), you guys completely missed the mark on what made the show great, but if Jason Gann is taking part in the writing like he did in the original and if fx has the balls to let Wilfred be Wilfred then it has potential (especially considering the minuscule budget of the original)

The world sees Wilfred as a dog; Ryan sees Wilfred as a man dressed in a dog suit? Does this take place in a mental institution? I like Woods, but I might need to taken a sedative before I see this lol.

@adam: I liked both Kath & Kims! The American version was “Glossed up” but Selma & Molly were adorable, I do wish it had lasted and people from the Original version were more involved tho :-)
This new series has potential, I hope it’s done well!

Well, it’s on F/X & they are known for their “edgy” shows (Nip/Tuck, Rescue me) So it should be cool! It it was on network t.v I would be concerned, Can’t wait!

If my idol-Elijah is there!!! I’ll definitely watch it…just remember, one of his movie ‘NORTH’…even though that movie was bad…but he’s acting is way too taxing!!! :)

Wilfred, done USA style will be nothing like the Australian original. So if you’ve seen the original and expect more of the same, it ain’t happening. Could still be a good show though.

@Jaye: If you would just open your tiny little American mind, perhaps even attempt to grow a brain cell, watch the original and you will see what it’s all about. It certainly beats the piss out of the boring crap I’ve seen from the US.

@Boiler Room 4:
Who says he’s even American? And who cares if he doesn’t like the show ,it’s not that big of a deal. No need to insult people for disagreeing.
