YG: Toot It and Boot It!

We’ve been living under a rock and just heard Californian rapper YG‘s smooth “Toot It and Boot It“. It’s fire!!!

Julie Pilat, assistant program director/music director for KIIS-FM Los Angeles, says, “Between Katy Perry‘s ‘California Girls’ and YG‘s ‘Toot It & Boot It’ — they were the 2010 songs of the summer.”

“Clubs, beaches, barbecues, they were inescapable!” Julie added.

YG‘s debut album, Fresh On Campus, is due out this winter.

And if you don’t know what “Toot It and Boot It” means, here are some synonymous phrases that might help:

– Hit it and quit it.
– One and done.
– One night stand.
– Down and out.
– Lay without pay.

FYI: The song samples from the The Association‘s 1967 recording “Songs in the Wind”.

  • Really

stupid ass song! They let anybody make a record…. can i get a deal? I have a great song in mind about books and bugs!

  • Oh Mercy

    Really now!

  • S*8hallo

    Seriously.

Not music at all…this is noise.

Please…it is so weak. The lyrics are so laughable and only someone who’s dying to be revelent or who thinks they’re hip would think the lyrics are meaningful.

I’ve heard better, clever, educated ryhmes on Sesame Street and at least those folks are all about EDUCATING and not degrading.

Rappers are a dime a dozen. Not original and ALWAYS have to SAMPLE music from from another generation and years gone by.

    No thanks!

Great — another song about getting drunk and f* cking someone. His mother must be proud of all the tooting and booting he does.

  • ha

This is probably the dumbest song ever.
