OlderLeo DiCaprio to Play Serial Killer Dr. HH Holmes
Leonardo DiCaprio is going over to the dark side!
The 35-year-old actor is set to play Dr. HH Holmes, a cunning serial killer believed to have murdered anywhere from 27 to 200 people in Chicago during the 1890s, Deadline reports.
Holmes constructed The World’s Fair Hotel, a “murder castle” where he killed his victims and stripped their skeletons to sell for medical and scientific study.
Leo isn’t the only actor who’ll soon be playing a murderer. True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten has reportedly signed up to star as notorious killer Charles Manson in The Family.

Sounds good. He’s been making great movies lately.
He’s also reading for the Jay Gatsby part in the upcoming remake of The Gatsby. He’s really number one isn’t he? Inception and Shutter Island were good. Congrats to him.
I love true crime, but I can’t see the point of another Charles Manson movie.. I recommend Jim Van Bebber’s 2003 The Manson Family.

@Steve: Are you….ok? Anyways, I like Dicaprio as an actor, he’s great and he’s pretty easy on the eyes XD and I don’t care about his personal life (him and Bar). This movie plot seems cool. That murderer really wasn’t attractive, huh?! I don’t understand how that horrible looking mustache could have possibly become some sort of a trend? How ugly is that.
Leonardo DiCaprio is extremely talented, he picks his roles wisely so I don’t care what he signs up for, it’ll always turn out great because he has great taste and much talent. He’s amongst my top favorite actors.
@CanadaGirl: I had read this on a blog of movies and there it says Leo was looking to buy the rights of the book because he really want to play this character! The character based on this Holmes from the book called The Devil is in the City, and seems that Appian Way bought this rights and now he’s looking for a director or someone to make the screenplay, something like this. I think it’s quite interesting Leo playing a murderer, at least different of everything he had done, seems good, scaring, but good!
I saw a documentary about this case and this man. It seriously creeped me out as this man was completely insane yet horribly intelligent and he used it in the worst way. This could be a brilliant movie!

I was going to say that Bar would probably meet Leo back in Nyc… but if leo is really busy i doubt she’d want to bug him. They seem really good at not bothering eachother when it is business time. For sure Leo is all about business these days … that new Dr Holmes roles proves he is busy setting things up.

lol Bar likes to pay less just like Leo. Well Leo is busy working for the next little while with like 3 projects that we know of. So leo needs time for himself to concentrate on that. However, soon we will see Leo and Bar doing something cute together.

I’m getting pretty tired of Leo. I think he has one characterization that is only made different by scenery and dialogue, a certain sameness in the way he does his characters. He’s getting pretty dull and is merely saved by good scripts.
He’s a nasty carb face like Ryan Phillipe.
