New York Knicks Star Danilo Gallinari Heats Up 'VMAN'
The 22-year-old Italian-born basketball star, who moved to NYC after the 2008 NBA draft, turned pro when he was just 15, first playing for the Casalpusterlengo team back home.
“This was my first choice,” he tells the magazine, on newsstands November 11, about joining the Knicks four years later.
Still, Danilo admits he gets homesick every once in a while.
“I’m lucky to have my mom come to New York a couple of times a year. She makes sure I have plenty of Italian food — she flies with it in her luggage and stocks up my apartment before she goes back,” he shared.
