Rihanna & Eminem: “Love The Way You Lie (Part 2)” Premiere

“Love The Way You Lie (Part 2)” Lyrics!

On the first page of our story, the future seems so bright.
And this thing turned out so evil, I don’t know why I’m still surprised.
Even angels have their wicked schemes and you take death to new extremes.
But you’ll always be my hero, even though you lost your mind.

Just gonna stand there and watch me burn,
But that’s alright because I like the way it hurts.
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry,
But that’s alright because I love the way you lie, I love the way you lie.
I love the way you lie.

Now this gravel in our voices, glass is shattered from the fight.
In this tug of war, you’ll always win, even when I’m right.
Cause you feed me fables from your hand,
With violet words and empty threats and it’s sick that all these battles are what keeps me satisfied.

Just gonna stand there and watch me burn,
But that’s alright because I like the way it hurts.
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry,
But that’s alright because I love the way you lie, I love the way you lie.
Ohhh, I love the way you lie.

So maybe I’m a masochist
I try to run but I don’t wanna ever leave.
Til the walls are goin’ up in smoke with all our memories.

[Eminem]
This morning, you wake, a sunray hits your face
smeared makeup as we lay in the wake of destruction
hush baby, speak softly, tell me I’ll be sorry that you
pushed me into the coffee table last night so I can push you off me
try and touch me so I can scream at you not to touch me
run out the room and I’ll follow you like a lost puppy
baby, without you, I’m nothing, I’m so lost, hug me
then tell me how ugly I am, but that you’ll always love me
then after that, shove me, in the aftermath of the
destructive path that we’re on, two psychopaths but we
know that no matter how many knives we put in each other’s backs
that we’ll have each other’s backs, ’cause we’re that lucky
together, we move mountains, let’s not make mountains out of molehills,
you hit me twice, yeah, but who’s countin’
I may have hit you three times, I’m startin’ to lose count
but together, we’ll live forever, we found the youth fountain
our love is crazy, we’re nuts, but I refused counselin’
this house is too huge, if you move out I’ll burn all two thousand
square feet of it to the ground, ain’t shit you can do about it
with you I’m in my f–kin’ mind, without you, I’m out it

Just gonna stand there and watch me burn,
But that’s alright because I like the way it hurts.
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry,
But that’s alright because I love the way you lie, I love the way you lie.
Ohhh, I love the way you lie.
I love the way you lie.

sequels never beat the original…Eminems version is waaaaay better

  • http://twitter.com/DannyCordero Danny

Sequels almost never surpass the original. Rihanna’s version is good, but the original is a lot better in my opinion.

  • zoe

    SEEMS AMAZING!!!

  • Cole

Not nearly as good as the original.

  • Jess

It sounds the same as the original.

  • high five

She’s sticking with what works. Most of her songs suck. Her collaborations are not so bad.

  • truly

    yep it’s the same.

  • facts

Song is crap just like the first overplayed emotionless byproduct of empty glass. CRAP.

  • Anthony

Not enough Eminem.. anyone could have done her part in the original and no one else could have done his part as good. Nowhere near the original imo

  • facts

As for sequels never being as good as the originals………….LOL. It’s 2010. Sequels (for the most part) are made much better than most of their originals nowadays. THE DARK KNIGHT. PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2. PREDATORS. TOY STORY 3. TRON LEGACY. HARRY POTTER 79. ETC. Idiots.

  • who…

    who..??

  • paolalala

8th! where can i download this shit? :))

  • aaltemari

rihanna just seems annoying eminem is king

  • Amy

Not as good as Eminem’s but it’s not horrible. Would have liked it better if he was in it more. But it’s not all horrible.

  • ehh

I agree that there’s not enough Eminem. also, maybe its just me but their parts just don’t sound cohesive enough

  • ha!

I heard they filmed a video where she rips off her wig and reveals she only has three stands of hair left.

  • paolalala

    where can i download?? :)

  • G

    GROSS………..

Pretty song, pretty girl but why rehash? Where is the imagination???

  • dancer

Rihanna is dropping albums too fast. She’s overexposed.

  • meme

I liked the first song. I’m not going to buy the same song again.

  • Chris

I might purchase this if they sell it on iTunes. I’m not interested in listening to an entire Rihanna cd — all her songs sound the same.

  • swedie

It’s o.k. Not very original. She needs to focus on quality over quantity.

  • http://www.immoaction.de M. C. Jordan

    It’s great! But no different…

  • J12003

I loved the first one and to be honest I really like this one to!

I’m kinda shocked I like this one as much as I do because like everyone has pointed out most sequels are never that good.

  • Me*

    Nice :)

  • Jenna

It’s actually pretty good, suprisingly. Her new music is horrible, I much rather the last album, at least Hard had some different sound to it and it sounded like her, not like autotune crap. She should get back to her island routes though, and make some real music again

  • Alex

I love both parts to this song. People the reason why there isn’t enough of Eminem in it is cause part 2 is based on the womens point of view just like how part 1 was based on the males point of view.

  • lils

I was falling asleep until Eminem came in. He owned this song!

  • http://twitter.com/sandrabieber21 Sandra

wooooooooooow but the first part is mooooooore better!

  • Yuna

Rihanna’s verses are boring, but Eminem’s part is epic.

  • Dasha

I’m not a fan of her voice, but it’s not that bad, the original is better of course

  • http://www.rihannadaily.com Santeri

    I love this :)

  • annie

If this was first it wouldn’t have been as successful as the first one. The first one is by far superior. Even Eminem was better on the first one. It is ok but not something i will put on my mp3 player

  • kiz

    @Anthony: couldn’t agree more.

  • rach88

Needs more Eminem, his verse is amazing!.
He gives the intensity that Rihanna lacks.

  • tal

    LOVE ITTTTTTT

  • Cosmic-Dancer

Way better than the original, Rihanna is Amazing…

  • Demmi

    @Jenna:

This comment killed me LMFSO two songs have been released from her album one is pop the other has a Reggae dance hall feel and this is a meld of R & B and rap and some idiot makes a statement like this.

  • Demmi

Don’t you people find these lyrics scary? What they are singing about happens every day to somebody. I personally find the song hard to listen to every time I think that this level of violence do exist in relationships. These songs should gather more comment on the lyrics and less on the singers.

  • JJ Readers are Dumb

Better than the original because there’s less Eminem. He used to be good, now he’s just annoying. Rihanna on the other hand is a very decent pop princess.

  • The N

    Awesommmmmme,
    LOVED IT.

  • Sweetness

I like it, but what is the point..it’s too similiar to the original and the best but shortest part was Eminem’s.

they are both on the road of too much exposure with this song.

  • The N

    AWESOME, LOVED IT.

  • Iffy Miffy

First song is incredible this is just meh. Not worth listening to.

  • ashley

i actually like it, but i think that it would be nice if she sings a third part where she describes how a woman can grow and love herself even after a dramatic relationship and domestic violence, not just how a girl (her) can be weak and human. i’m not judging, it just think it’s a better message, since i think she’s the first to support women against domestic violence and abuses…

  • Jamie L

No it may not be as good as the original, but I think it’s still very good in its own right. Rihanna and Eminem’s music styles mesh very well together, they make for good music.

  • http://twitter.com/Imoliviabrown Olivia Brown

This song has so much meaning. I love Rihanna’s verses on here, there incredible! But of course Eminem shocks me with his talent once again!
Both versions are amazing but this one is my favourite!
LTWYL is definitely the best song of 2010
