Rooney Mara: Lowkey Lisbeth Salander

Rooney Mara keeps her head down while walking around West Hollywood on Friday (November 5).

The 25-year-old actress was in Sweden last month filming The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo as the female lead, computer hacker Lisbeth Salander.

Mara was spotted on the film’s set sporting a new ‘do, including black hair, heavy eye make-up, a lip ring, and boots wrapped in duct tape.

The drama-thriller, expected to be released in December 2011, also stars Daniel Craig, Robin Wright and Alexander Skarsgard‘s dad Stellan Skarsgard.
