Beatles Music Now Available on iTunes!

The Beatles‘ music is now on iTunes!

After trying to strike a deal for years, Apple announced this morning that they’d teamed up with Apple Corps and EMI to release the music on their downloading service.

“We’re really excited to bring the Beatles’ music to iTunes,” Paul McCartney said (via THR). “It’s fantastic to see the songs we originally released on vinyl receive as much love in the digital world as they did the first time around.”

“I am particularly glad to no longer be asked when the Beatles are coming to iTunes,” Ringo Starr added. “At last, if you want it – you can get it now – The Beatles from Liverpool to now!”

Individual songs will cost $1.29, with single albums for $12.99 and doubles for $19.99.

I can’t believe Apple hyped this up as much as they did. Any Bettle fan would already have all their music and any young fan just discovering them probabaly downloaded their discography a long time ago. I always thought they were overrated, but I digress.

yaaawn indeed, how many times do we need to have same Beatles’s stuff packaged, repackaged, reshuffled as if it was some novelty. The band sure had a big impact on music 50 years ago, but enough is enough.

@e: See that’s where you’re wrong, they didn’t have an impact on music 50 years ago, they’ve had an impact on music FOR 50 years.
One of the best bands ever. I just wish their music was on Spotify too but that’s probably not gonna happen. At least not yet.

Well, I’m for once happy about the news. Music today is total c.r.a.p. and I rather listen to the Beatles than the auto-tuned over-produced songs kids listen today.

I think it’s safe to say most Beatles fans already have their albums. But at least this might introduce younger people to listen?

I’ll get the music. Unlike so many bands and individuals of today and the last few decades, they have and had talent. Revolutionized music. For those of you hating on them, they crossed and created musical boundaries that propelled current music being.

They came in #1 on the VHI 100 greatest artists ever, Michael Jackson was #2. This is cool, but I don’t listen to I-Tunes, I have import albums of there’s which are pretty cool, hard to find too. :)

    The Beatles RULE.

The Beatles who have only just been added to iTunes and already, eleven of the their records have made it into the site’s top 25 albums.

Additionally, in the iTunes top 200 they are responsible for 60 of the songs currently charted.

    YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!!!!

who are all you people saying ‘who are the beatles?’ let me answer..
-The band that defined an era
-The timeless band that people still listen to 50 years on. Justin bieber has pretty much been forgotten and so will all these other ****** musicians. the test of time is the test of talent.
-They are the band that broke SO many records that they could have a record for how many records they broke. 56,000 at one concert? 27 no.1s? 73 million viewers on the ed sullivan show in their FIRST WEEK in america? most simultaneous titles by a single artist in the charts? 5 singles and 3 albums all filling up the top spots at the same time? in fact theres so many i cba typing them, but look here
enough said, if you even bother to argue that they’re the most successful band in history? you’re just making yourself look stupid so go for it :)
